The back and forth banter keeps us on our toes. I love that we aren't yes men that agree on everything, it's good to talk it out. Someone always seems to come ip with and idea I hadn't thought of before. This is the start of a new chapter of Seancat I'm sure this will be a very exciting time for everyone. Keep the concersation going.

Just for the record, I have said they could air both weddings on the same date. Not a double wedding.. 2 separate weddings, 2 separate locations.. same wedding special. I know SeanCat fans don't think this is necessary for ratings, but I think it could happen. Des and Chris can't pull in enough ratings on their own (IMO, based on this thread and their rather inactive twitter following), but they would bump Sean and Cat's ratings up. I know it's the first real bachelor wedding, but their engagement happened awhile ago in terms of how long the average viewer stays invested in them. They may have been more popular at the time, but Chris and Des are fresh in our minds. Just think about it in terms of ratings, because that's all TPTB are thinking about..

Don't see this happening at all. First off, Sean is the first Bachelor to marry his F1. It's a big deal for the franchise by itself, besides the fact that his season helped ratings and they are a very popular couple. I don't think Des & Chris having their wedding shown in the same special would help SeanCat's ratings at all. People would probably tune out for that portion if anything. SeanCat are still fresh enough in people's minds with them appearing on the ATFR and filming for JuanPa's season, thus keeping them on everyone's mind.

I agree with you Umngirl. I believe Sean and Catherine are more popular today than Des and a Chris even though his season was almost a year ago. Catherine is more popular at this point than Des and she was the Bachelorette!

Joint wedding is not gonna happen!

It definitely won't happen. Chris and Des are cute, and I'm happy for them.... but they are not compelling. Sean and Catherine both have much stronger personalities (as much as tptb tried not to let Sean's shine through) and their wedding will be really interesting- from the melding of their two cultures/families into the ceremony, to the expression of faith which will play a large part. Des has said she wants something intimate- I don't get the impression that her parents are very comfortable with the cameras. I also don't think they're ready to tie the knot yet, and Sean and Catherine really are.

You are right. Really the most compelling argument against this idea is the fact that a wedding date is set, planning is in process and Sean and Catherine are ready to marry. Des and Chris are not there yet.

Did Des and Chris plan to televise their wedding also. I have not heard anything from ABC or the media. Immediately after the FR Sean and Catherine already decided to televise their wedding. I'm very happy to see Filipinlowe love for each other develop stronger and stronger. And now I could hardly wait for the SOON :married

Why not? As they said in their forum "the dress is ready ":) . Des is bridal stylish .planning for her wedding would be so easy because of her more knowledge in planning a big day plus if they will get hire a planner . Her wedding planning would be easy to plan lol . Joke kidding.

I don't like to say anything about this double/joint thing. I am just focusing to our couple and be looking forward for their special day. Seeing them so happy and enjoying normal things with everyone in dallas . And both families and friends are just excited and happy for both of them .And we the fans supporting them and happy for both of them . Although I will admit there are some comments that I don't like the other couple forum but that's okay :) . I don't mind though :) we get used to it. But seriously I am happy for everyone :)
