You took the words right out of my mouth. I was about to post "cutting room floor". We all know the show is edited to have a certain effect. Sean indicated how many hours were filmed to use two minutes, I believe the sisters had some good things to say as well. Truth be told Cat did say she was pissed at her sisters on her LCD Sean. I'm hoping all is forgiven and water under the bridge. Cat does love the warmth of Seans parents. Now I 'm thinking they will be one happy blended family.

I dont think Sean was all that bothered by the sisters. When Catherine told him on the boat in Thailand that she was pissed at them, he seemed genuinely surprised. Maybe they made him have a couple questions but I don't think he was worried too much. He was pretty far gone for her at that point.

I agree Sean was long gone for her way long before the home town dates. I know they have not shown us more of them but watching the fantasy date especially when Catherine says you have three guess you can see they have their own secretes they shared between to two of them. I just think both Sean and Catherine were really good at not letting everyone know what was going on between them.

I think what we saw of Cat's sisters was put there so there would still potentially be mystery over who he was sending home. Otherwise it would have been obvious because there was no drama on two of the HTD.

Truthfully, I never thought it was a big deal what they said. They were being skeptical and protective. Everyone got over it a long time ago I'm sure.

I think maybe the only thing the sister's said that he might have had question on was they told him that Catherine wanted to pursue her career in New York and she hadn't mentioned that to him so it left him a little confused about her wanting to settle down. But, again I think he was to in love to let it stop him and he was full steam ahead. Ah, love!!!! :Flirty: I'm a sucker for it and I know that I'm far from alone!!!

This is from Sean's blog in People from their hometown date. "Her sisters also told me that Catherine had a strong desire to pursue a career in New York and that she may not be ready to settle down. I found it strange that they were telling me this, yet Catherine had never mentioned it. I'm all for supporting her dreams, but I wished she'd shared those dreams with me.

I left Seattle knowing that I had a desire to be with Catherine, but just wasn't sure if our lives aligned."

I agree with both of you. Sean was already sold at that point. He obviously had questions for her because he needed answers to boost his confidence in a future with her, but nothing they said made him want her less.

I agree, to an extent. We've seen an article with Cynthia (mom) where he said that they agreed to be tough so that they (S&C) would be encouraged to ask "hard" questions. But I don't think it was a big deal either. It was a little injection of real reality- after all, Sean's answer to Jimmy Kimmel's, "What do you say to a friend who's gotten engaged to a woman he's known 8 weeks?" was "You're crazy."... so they were just having that "you're crazy" moment. They always put a family member up to injecting something negative.... Roberto's brother, Ashley's sister, JP's mom who emphasized how she didn't want him to get hurt again. And the editors show us the 2 minutes of negativity and decline to show us positive minutes unless they are really special- like Sean's dad.

When Sean's Mom or Dad asked him who are they going to meet that day (meet the parents), and he said it's Catherine, he told them "nice family". I'm sure he had a nice time with them. They all seem happy on that deleted scene with their grandma. Also, I think she said she was pissed because they were grilling her and not about what they said to Sean because I don't think she knew what was said . On the article of her mother's interview, she mentioned they made a brick wall to see if Catherine is serious about this relationship. JMO.

I'm with you all knowing that Sean will finally meet her friends and family makes me happy. No doubt they will love him and vice versa. These two are just perfect for each other.

Let's be honest, if a member of your family told you they were going to be a contestant on the Bachelor, you'd be skeptical too. I know I would tell mine to run for the hills. Imagine if they then brought said bachelor home and claimed the loved him. What are the odds that this would end well? Pretty slim. I'd be protective of my loved one too.

Sean and Catherine are the exception here but they were both very, very lucky that, not only did they find each other, but that they were both equally committed to doing whatever they had to make it work.

If I may say one thing that we did not talk about that really impressed me is the support that Catherine's family gave Sean during DWS.  I remember seeing Catherine sisters in the audience supporting Sean.  Catherine's mother was also very supportive of him.  I am glad to see how both families came together in support of him.

Yes, all's well that ends well!  Anything negative should be put behind us and now's the time to celebrate!  Hoping for pictures!!!

At the end of the day, REAL LOVE is REAL LOVE and it's undeniable. Some RELATIONSHIPS are meant to be. It appears to me, Sean and Catherine have that IT-FACTOR of a LOVING, PASSIONATE relationship. It is so OBVIOUS all of us want to hang out with them and stalk their every waking minute. And the CRAZY part, we ENJOY stalking them.  For a first time TB fan, I must admit I like SeanCat being together a lot.     WEDDING in NEAR future!

Oh, I had forgotten about that interview with Cynthia, but now that you bring it up, I do remember she said they were tough on purpose, to see their true intentions for each other, or something like that. It made me feel better about her sisters talk with Sean when I read it then, and it makes me feel better now to read it again!

While I agree with that, I don't think there's anything wrong with questioning things at times, even if it's not always positive. It makes for good conversation and may cause people to see something a different way. I'm one of their biggest supporters and am not being negative by making a comment about something I saw on the show, just making an observation. My one comment caused a lot of discussion on this thread, which kept the conversation going.
