SeanCat must be just as impatient with ABC's dillydallying...the couple might just decide to go for a very simple hushhush (if it can be done) ceremony this year. And still proceed with the tv wedding next year as well.

The headline of the article though "My girl must love dogs" and how many pictures have we gotten of her with them?

That's maybe the reasons too. As much waiting is wearing everyone . We understand how hard it is to do a televised wedding and I think we just need to wait .

I they can do this . But I doubt they can do it in a hush hush way. Jmo.

Here's the interview on People.com where Sean talks about the dogs and their sleeping arrangements. It is from January 14, 2013. He doesn't specify when he broke them of the bed habit but says they sleep on the floor next to the bed. Cute video on the site too.

Sorry for not putting this in the media thread. I wanted to respond where the discussion was.

Bringing this over from the other thread. I sometimes forget there are different threads for different discussions. Thank you Lipsis for posting that cute video. I've actually been searching the net for it. He doesn't say when he broke them of the habit. Maybe he realised after their engagement that he had to. I think I am having SeanCat withdrawals. I would do anything for an updated interview with both of them. Their appearance at the last ATFR was very short and was flanked by other things.  

Posting here because this appeared here. I always got confused as to whats discussion and whats update with an article like the doggie one. That being said Sean really got answer to all his questions about his woman and his doggies. Many times when we see Elle and Lola they seem like Cat's doggies. So sweet, the dogs know and so do we who Mom is.

I haven't posted much lately, but I've been keeping up with the forum. As much as I hate to damper everyone's enthusiasm, I think we need to temper our expectations of what "soon" means. Near the end of Emily's season, Chris Harrison was on Access Hollywood Live. He said Ashley and JP would be getting married "soon." That was May. Ashley and JP's wedding wasn't announced until November (although we first got word of some of the filming in October).

I'm as excited for a SeanCat wedding as anyone. My only point is that "soon" doesn't mean "imminent." With filming on Juan Pablo's season due to start shortly, there's no way there will be a wedding before his season is done filming. And as much as we'd all like to rationalize otherwise, there's not much reason for the producers to operate on a schedule much different than they did for Jason/Molly and Ashley/JP, where the announcements were made within a month of the actual weddings.

So as much as it sucks, we're all going to have to sit tight and be patient. The end result will be worth it!

I've always thought the wedding would take place after the filming of next season, perhaps in late November or early December, or even early next year and then aired either right before the season or as a special extra while that season is on.

In the meantime, we will just have to enjoy our favorite couple as they just live their lives in Dallas.

Sorry for my ignorance...Ashley and JP got married almost or more than a year after they got engaged? Wow...


Anyway, after August has passed and no announcement was made I knew the tv wedding will have to wait...(6 months to 1year is the new "soon" i guess)but then that doesn't mean they can't have a civil wedding first way ahead of the wedding..? But if this does'nt happen (if we have a way of knowing) maybe they're really not in a hurry..which is also fine.

Did JP and Ashley have their civil wedding months before their tv wedding?

Ha! It's an unfortunate side effect of being a lawyer. Plus, I remember the seemingly interminable wait for an announcement about Ashley and JP, how we dissected the timing of Jason and Molly's wedding, and analyzed every wedding-related clause of the Bachelor/ette contract. I learned patience is a must. But jut like with Ashley and JP, I have no problem being patient, because I have every confidence that the wedding will happen. :Smiley:

Also, I miss you! I hope the new job is going great so far! 

They got married Dec 1st & the wedding aired a few weeks later. So they were engaged a little over 1 year and a half. So yes I'm sure it will take time for SeanCat's wedding to get finalized, probably won't get news until after JuanPablo's season finishes filming so just gotta sit and be patient.

Oh trust me! When you go to their twitter timelines to their IG accounts . You will always see some people bringing the words "when is the big day?, where are you going to get married? Are you getting married soon?  Get married already ? You can't be engaged forever . Lol  sometimes I have to wonder seancat are being annoyed by them  but the only thing they could do is to ignore them . Yeah they seem not in a hurry too though. But I just hope they are kicking their planning and whenever the soon announcement is. I am just going to sit here and try to wait for it . Just saying .

Agreed! After all seancat has nothing to say beause abc control everything about their big day . So we all just have to wait patiently . For now just enjoy them seeing together about their new life together .
