Ooh, just had a terrible thought. What if the reason JP and Ashley were in LA the other weekend was to film a catchup segment for that open space where the Bachelorette preview was in the bloopers special? Maybe they weren't in town for SeanCat at all?

For ABC's sake, it will make a lot of sense if ABC can do a catch up segment with Sean and Catherine instead of JP and Ashley. For them to get they ratings up they need to promote more of Sean and Catherine. It will be really sad if they do not take advantage of the wedding. Sean and Catherine have the highest number of followers than everyone else.

If JP and Ashley were in L.A only to film a catchup segment, I would think ABC would advertise that alongside the bloopers show.

I have not seen anything too.

ABC's big announcement this week is DWTS cast. At least we know they won't be announcing that during the bloopers show. But the cast will be doing heavy promotion this week. When THE announcement is made, S&C might be called on to do some (but maybe not a lot, depending on when the airing with be)... so I think that will happen when there's a little less competition for airspace- they won't want to bump the DWTS promo out.

Figuring out what the minds at ABC are doing is tough. And it is hard to get all the pieces in place. When you figure out how hard it is to find a good date for both families and then figure something out for ABC- quite a challenge.

I haven't seen any advertising as yet either. Just thinking they would/should?

eta: next week can't come any sooner. Crossing my fingers for a nice surprise too :)

I think this lack of soon announcement and lack of info about the planning and we are in September already. The dwts new season is announced already , tye bachelor 18 is set to start . I think is really looking the big day will be next year . I could be wrong and I am going to accept being wrong lol. Just my 2 cents .

I always thought it would be early next year right before the new Bach season, just so that gives them time to plan & be an engaged couple for awhile. But now of course I want it to be this year! ;) We probably haven't gotten any news because they are busy finalizing all the plans, maybe deciding on a location, possibly Dallas, & working with ABC on all the details. It takes lots of work to get an tv wedding in full gear! I'm thankful they are giving it to us though :)

Here's the interview on People.com where Sean talks about the dogs and their sleeping arrangements. It is from January 14, 2013. He doesn't specify when he broke them of the bed habit but says they sleep on the floor next to the bed. Cute video on the site too.

Sorry for not putting this in the media thread. I wanted to respond where the discussion was.

Bringing this over from the other thread. I sometimes forget there are different threads for different discussions. Thank you Lipsis for posting that cute video. I've actually been searching the net for it. He doesn't say when he broke them of the habit. Maybe he realised after their engagement that he had to. I think I am having SeanCat withdrawals. I would do anything for an updated interview with both of them. Their appearance at the last ATFR was very short and was flanked by other things.
