Bare with me and hear me out....I'm just trying to look at a theory that would piece together the SCs and other snippets. SCs of the FRC in VOMO seem to suggest that Ben is BSG and comes first to the FRC according to the brighter lighting conditions. He leaves and GSG arrives but SC show him walking away too. Ash is seen leaving the FRC. Although Fijiman has been all over the place with his F1 info he originally said that she "makes it up" with Ben and no one could understand what he meant by this. Today Fijiman tells Ninu that she chased after Ben but he had left by chopper. What if she followed him back to Namale which would account for the shot we have of her looking lonesome in her FRC dress on the deck in Namale? This Namale photo seems to be forgotten but it needs to be explained somehow.

BTW, This theory would work for JP too but fits with Fijiman's earliest comments.

I'm at the point where anything is plausible.
Do the hair and jewelry from Namale FRC dress match Vomo FRC? I think she's got a bracelet on at Namale and not Vomo, but can't remember her hair.

I don't know what to think about all this. The one thing that I noticed in the SCs, is that when GSG walks away, his suit looks a lot lighter than in the previous picture. Is that just lighting?

yes, it's the sun glare reflecting off the back of his suit jacket.

I think Albean is correct...I do not think any of these are flipped. So what does that change our minds about? That GSG is walking away from her?

flipped or not, it still looks to me like he is walking around to take his place in front of her. Back before Dreamer's youtube account was shut down, someone (I think it was Love_Me but not sure) had a post about how it looked from the slow-mo video that GSG was reaching into his pants pocket (based on his shoulder movement and her gaze following that movement down) and then walking around her so that she was facing the wind and the wind stopped blowing her hair into her face. Of course the video is gone now.

So these shots can be interpreted either way.. I don't think we can prove or disprove either based on what we've got right now. But I personally think he's just walking around her, not walking away.

First, thank you for answering my question. I am quite the amateur when it comes to analysis of SCs. But now that I look again, what you say makes perfect sense.

I also think that you have given at least an alternative explanation with your comments in bold. I have been wracking my brain to figure this out since I first saw it. I kept telling myself how deceptive these FRC SCs can be every season. It would be fascinating to see that slo-mo video, but it's great that you were able to remember it and provide us with some other theory.

You all are speaking up thread of Ashley's tattoo and I believe that someone did verify earlier on that Ashley's tattoo is on her right wrist.

Albean, I agree that the pictures are not flipped. In addition to bangs, look at her eyes and mouth. The left side of her upper lip tends to go up a tiny bit more when she smiles (or other expression where her lips are parted). Also, she has a tiny freckle or mole just to the left of her nose and another a little lower. We can see these in some of the pictures. Her left eye lid seems to droop just a tiny bit also.

The left side of her upper lip tends to go up a tiny bit more when she smiles (or other expression where her lips are parted). Also, she has a tiny freckle or mole just to the left of her nose and another a little lower. We can see these in some of the pictures. Her left eye lid seems to droop just a tiny bit also.

I'll try to address a couple of the comments I've seen.

Someone mentioned that they've chosen snippets of what actually happened and are showing just the ones where she looks miserable. That's possible of course but I'm not sure why. Usually they do that at the end when they show the guys and we're sure to see her smiling with her f2 and sad with her f1. Right now we're not being shown heads and most wouldn't have caught edge of GSG's face or a guy walking away. I know I can't with my tv. I did watch the video again and while they're short pieces of tape there is more than just a tiny snippet so we're seeing some real reactions. I do still have the preview and can watch on slo-mo and I don't see that he's pulling something out of his pocket. Could be that or could be just putting his hand in his pocket. I also don't see a smile or even the beginning of one of Ashley. Gas maybe? :giggle:

The other comment I've seen is that JP or GSG is moving around Ashley and not actually leaving. I don't believe that happened because it's a small area and makes no sense that he's moving around her to get on the other side. It makes more sense that he's moving past her to leave since we actually see someone walking away. The lead puts the guys where she wants them after the initial greeting and that's where they stay. It's right in front of the rose and is the best shot for the camera.

To the bolded, it was obvious to me that the whole point of the promo was to encourage the idea that Ashley ended up alone, and everything we were shown in that piece as it relates to her was negative; her facial expressions, her comments of defeat and confusion, etc. It apparently worked, since most unspoiled viewers still believe she didn't end up with anyone. In order to pound that impression into our heads, they weren't going to show clips of her looking happy for us to focus on and then doubt the outcome was as dismal as they are leading us to believe.

I don't know if this helps but I edited out all the scene changes and put together GSG who I believe is JP scenes with Ashley. The sun is low on her face and arms and it looks to me like JP is moving around to propose not walking away. Notice Ashley hardly opers her mouth so I think GSG is doing the talking.

I think him walking away happens first....she runs after him. He returns and then we have the proposal. I think the events have been reversed in the pre-view.
