I am here to talk about Brooks ... and I for one am really feeling for Brooks right now. Everything he says gets torn apart. Either people love it/him or they find something to scorn about it. People even correct all his grammar. Jeesh, people! Just let him be!

That is crazy scary about Gia. I mean, I guess she was fine and then suddenly not?! thinking good thoughts as it really sounds bad..... :(

As for Brooks, I think he can handle the twitter thing just fine. I agree with Atem, that wetpaint stuff is always tabloidesque. I think Brooks has found a good balance btw calling others out yet keeping it fun on twitter! Can't wait to read his tweets, no matter how out of the box they may be lol.

Hate to say it, but that's twitter in general. There are always the bullies and the #1 bullies are the so called rag mags online (Café'dis' stir'bed' and 'All'WetPaint). Then they have fake accounts to just RT their tweets all day long.

I think Brooks, as the central character/contestant this season was doomed to get the scorn no matter what, whether he stayed and got engaged to Des or this scenario here. The haters were going to pick on him if he got engaged to Des because he took their guys girl and they are picking on him now because even though he doesn't have the girl, it was 1) not by her choice 2) he still getting tons of love despite walking away from his certain F1 status. Meanwhile the F1 is left with people questioning his status and calling him "second best." That only makes the naysayers that much more angry at Brooks and determined to insult him. Like I said before, I think Brooks is doing just fine even with the vultures hovering around wanting to tear him apart. For the most part the guy is having fun on there and laughing his way through it. I think we should all join him in the laughing :).

It definitely illustrates why I never want to be famous. Every Tweet he makes finds its way into the news and usually without context and then people have a knee-jerk reaction.

I've often thought he should just go private on Twitter and take his best followers with him. Who needs 35,000 people following you, anyway. giggling

Remember, Brooks likes adventure! Twitter is just that, another cyber adventure laugh out loud

. I've been on twitter long enough to know that the nastiness and "hate" comes with the territory. Brooks has control of what he looks at with twitter. He doesn't necessarily always see with people write @ him. He may primarily look at his timeline which will only consist of people he chooses to follow. Obviously from time to time he does check his @ replies but I really don't think he is losing sleep over what the naysayers say.
