Episode 10 Rewatch - Meet the Parents

Catherine arrives in part 2 but I had to include little Smith's forever classic line "Emily didnt pick you"

The part I love to rewatch was when Seancat were goodbye where Sean leaned in for another kiss. He didn't do that with Lindsey and also when he squeezed her leg when he felt that Cat was getting nervous when his Dad was asking her a question while sitting at the dinner table.

The relationship between Sean and Lindsay was pure lust nothing else. If you watch the montage Sean did not say much about Lindsay, he talks about Catherine. The rest was said by Lindsay not Sean. I am really convinced that Sean was never in love with Lindsay but it was all lust. On one montage I remember Sean say "Lindsay and I have a massive fling" and for me it was very clear that this was not a lasting relationship since fling more physical and nothing else.

Catherine is so articulate, honest and genuine in expressing her thoughts about Love and Sean though she was nervous when answering their questions.  OMG. I would not be able to respond in a way she responded to those questions.  Her choice of words and vocabulary is very rich. Damn smart, hot, gorgeous woman.  You are one lucky dude SEAN LOWE.

We are saving the proposal for a later date. I'm sure ya'all have it memorized like I do anyway. Enjoy the MTP & LCD. I'm loving the discussion already.

I agree, I never believed he loved Lindsay even with him saying that he was on the show. It might have been physical but I didn't really see it from him. It was mostly coming from Lindsay.

When you look at MTP Sean and Catherine body language was off the chats, no space at all in between them and when you look at him with Lindsay a cushion was separating them. When you listen to Sean's father talking to Catherine he almost said when Sean marries you and then he remembered that he was not supposed to say that and he changes to say if it is you that Sean marries. I really believe the family was very clear of his choice. Also Catherine was the first to meet the parents since he want his family to have the first impression of the woman he was going to marry without being clouded by seeing Lindsay first. Just think of it Lindsay always had the first dates but when it comes to meet the parents Catherine was first. It is even advisable that when you go for interview if possible take the first slot because you set the standard. First impressions are always great. When Sean's spoke to Lindsay he said a general statement which was clearly not direct to her.

On the dates Sean is a very clear man, he always saved the best for last. If you move from one date to another you only clearly remember the last date. Sean want his date with Catherine to be fresh in his mind and never allowed it to be clouded by other dates.

I really like what Sean on his blog about his date with Catherine.

"I was so excited to surprise Catherine with the elephant ride because she had told me that was on her bucket list. We really enjoyed the day together. Taking in the beautiful Thai landscape while on an elephant ride was one of the most amazing things I've ever done. But it was the person I was with that truly made the day so special."

This tells me that Sean did took time to thing of something to make Catherine happy. It was very clear that he had already made up his mind unlike what they try to make us think.

I've often wondered how much the Lowe's were clued in on. Did they allow them any time at all to discuss the women off camera or maybe Sean told them the woman you meet first is "the one"?

Actually, he is a good writer in general. He's very articulate and descriptive. Would love to read more from him.

Speaking of writing, I would to see the notes they passed to each other. Sigh.
