Why didn't they show this in the deleted scenes or something?  So freaking hilarious!  I cannot believe there was a towel big enough to cover that much of Brooks!  I would be totally lost in that thing!

loving all the new pictures of Brooks... I still am having more trouble than apparently he or Des is having with them going separate ways.

when Brooks sat down at the AFTR, he made it a point to lean forward and look at Des' hand to see if there was a ring in those interlaced fingers, then he sat back and moved over to the left more. I believe that if Des had remained single he would have pursued her away from the show. to say that she was not affected by his presence would be a lie... her breath sped up, her eyes lit up and she got flustered somewhat. when he spoke, you could see her taking it all in, they even began to speak in their easy banter, finishing each other's sentences.

i'm not sure who said that intellectually they were not on the same playing field, but I don't agree with that. I believe they brought out the good parts of the other. the heart wants what it wants, no matter what the package looks like or how it thinks. my grandma used to say that love would go to a garbage can if that is where the heart is. I believe that.

i'm hoping that Brooks is working his way thru all this, and that Des and Chris are happy and able to withstand the storms that will come their way.  my understanding is Chris has not watched all the show? only his and Des' parts? what's going to happen when a sweet old  Auntie of Chris' says you need to see all this before you make a decision young man... you are no one's booby prize!

I Auntie and welcome. I feel the same way you do. I looked at old screen caps of them today and it made me sad all over again to think that Brooks walked away from the love Des had to give him.

He even said in a People's interview that he was so close he could touch it. I still say if he knew Des loved him before he made the decision to break up they would be together today.
