I don't know if any of you watched Ready for Love.. but Jenna had a similar head shake. It's like they said, it's an out of body experience, but there's a moment when it hits them.

You might find them in her contestant thread of Sean's season. MOT found Desiree's blog (that Desiree took down before Sean's season began so the link no longer works). I recall seeing pictures of Desiree with what appeared to be a more recent bf at that time. Desiree had several thoughtful reflections as well. I don't recall if any pictures were posted from that blog, but it's possible. It's also possible if they were that the bf's face was cut off to preserve his privacy...but it's worth a shot if you've got the time and interest. I would guess it to be in her first thread...right after it was announced that she made the final 4.

Love the interview. I don't think I can say enough how much I adore these two!
 
Some of my favorite parts of the interview:
 
I love that Chris said Brooks' leaving didn't affect his decision-making process. He knew that he loved her and was there for her from the beginning.
 
I also love Des' response that Chris was never a second choice. I think that a second choice and not seeing what you need right away are two different things.
 
I thought it was so cute and funny when he said that they still share poetry once in a while but not everyday like on the show!

I too was in a situation once where I met two different guys around the same time and started spending time with both of them as friends, not realizing that I was slowly developing feelings for both. I was leaning towards one of them and then received a big wake up call to see that the right one for me was guy #2 all along. So I can relate to what happened with Des. Sometimes your heart leads you one way when it should be going elsewhere. We are only human. She was in a unique situation where she was dating several guys at once so it's totally realistic to be falling for two people at the same time. And although she preferred Brooks from the beginning, it took him leaving and breaking her heart for her to realize that Chris was the right one for her. Those are my two cents.
