Also did u see des face light up when she first saw chris walking up to frc, she said in her blog she wanted to scream "Yes ill marry you"! We need a cap of her face there!

Where does mention that he was dashing? So cute. I can't get enough of these two. I've never been so pleasantly surprised by this show before.

Because of those darn spoilers I didn't pay much attention to Chris during the season.  I went back and watched all of their dates.  Chris and Des are now my FAVORITE couple. They seem like they will have a wonderful life together

So adorable! Poor Chris & Des must be so tired of answering the same silly questions! I liked the AccessHollywood Interview much better though. This one w/ET probably occurred toward the end of their LONG day cause they are starting to look tired. They were both in rare form in the two AccessHollywood interviews - Desiree truly glows (!) & is the absolutely most gorgeous that I have seen her all season -- and better questions were asked. (And, I don't work for AccessHOllywood  )

I wasn't a fan of either of them while watching the show (well, I mostly just disliked Chris for his stupid poems) but I like watching their interviews. They seem so normal and cute. I actually have a good feeling they will make it. I wish them the best :Smiley:

So I am trying hard to figure out why I am feeling like such a proud mama reading this article about Chris but I just had to pull out these quotes that Chris' former college baseball coach (Chris Sperry of University of Portland) had to say about him:

It was the first and only episode of “The Bachelorette” that Chris Sperry had seen, but he said the Siegfried he saw on television was the same Siegfried he saw while at Portland.

“I sent him a text this morning and said that ‘You should be proud of the person you’ve become,’” Sperry said. “I think you got a good feel for him watching that last night.”

Wow - nice to hear! That happens to the best of us & happened to me last season with Emily. True, Jef was F1 but there were little things that bothered me all season about him but I just overlooked them and let myself get sucked into their fairytale and ate up 1F's every tweet, YouTube video and IG post. Self promotion, much?!?

For Des, I watched the first four episodes spoiler-free and was able to be more objective. Rather than fast forwarding thru scenes of guys on their way out (like I had done in prior seasons), I paid attention to everyone and picked Chris as my favorite (and Des F1) because he was so genuine, funny and kind plus those BIG brown soulful eyes, sigh! I was also cheering hard for Zack Kalter who got ZERO screen time and Juan Pablo who got next to nothing (thank goodness that will change in 2014). Prior to accidently learning the spoiler, I had Brooks going home somewhere between F4-F8.

Were Chris and Des on Kelly and Michael's show this week or was there any press today?

I was very surpsied by the ending, but I'm now glad that Chris is Des' F1 - and future husband!   
I also believe that Chris is the best fit for Des, and I'm happy to see that they are both very much in love.  :Smiley: 

It's refreshing for me to hear that Des is now in the process of moving to Seattle!   
That shows me that this love story is real - that neither Chris nor Des are sticking around in L.A. to seek out fame.  :Smiley:    

You know, Chres' love story reminds me a lot of Jason and Molly's!
And I hope that they have the happy ending and happy life that Jason and Molly are now enjoying.

By the way, also on my own, I thought up the moniker "Chres" for our happy couple  because saying this name and writing it evoques both of them very well.
I was going to suggest it here, but I see that someone else also thought of this moniker - or perhaps many of you - and has also written it here.  :Smiley:
