The leads always have their talking points.

Only problem was that Desiree was obviously smitten with Brooks since their first date. She was already planning on meeting his family and picturing what their life would be like on that date. She said on her PI she felt like a newlywed and we sure know how happy she was from the pic that lady took with her in the lobby of the hotel where she did her PIs at. Her face was pure happiness.

My point is that she uses it as a cover. There is no way to say that Chris is witty or sarcastic in any way.

I just watched that interview. The interviewer kept bringing up Brooks to the point where I could see it was bothering Desiree, haha. I love Chris. He's really grown on me. He's such a nice, genuine guy who is good for her. They do seem really good together and happy. Most likely these two will work out. And I like that there is no animosity between them and Brooks. I just think it's funny how the interviewer kept bringing him up, including wondering if Desiree had anything more to say to him at the end. Haha.

I'm so glad that Brooks is looked at in nothing but a positive light post show! That's a real consolation prize for Brooks fans.

I watched the ATFR again to see Brooks segment. Gosh they really have great interaction. She still finishes his sentences. She laughs with him..touches him...she seemed alive when he was there. When Chris announced that he was coming on stage and that he broke her heart, she started to tear up and her lips trembled a little. Brooks still care deeply for her. I think both of them will be the "I wonder if" person to each other.

Her interaction with Chris was very soft, friends, goofy(and not goofy like sancta) just goofy. I hope they can make it work.

They didn't show any of that.

My guess is they spent a lot less time on Brooks to deter us from their story and have us focus more on Chris and Des. How convenient of them, right? When the entire season was " The Brooks and Des Show".

Wow, the finale was a brutal one for a Bres fan to watch! I kept watching the clock and as soon as it hit the last 20 minutes I knew Brooks was not coming back. I kept holding on to the spoilers even when we had no facts backing them up - I questioned everything that Atem and others did, but then I would reassure myself with spoilers backup and then read something in the Chris or Drew thread that made me doubt and so on. The thing that did bother me when looking back on things was a foreshadowing on Bres' first one and one on the Hollywood Sign - Des made a comment that she was not afraid to get her heart broken because that just it was not the right person. I thought about before the show and then pushed it aside again. Anyway, I think I am officially through with the franchise - I had not watched since Brad 2.0 and only came back when I figured it would be fun to watch some eye candy - did not know anything about Des since I did not watch Sean's season. I watched and was spoiled by Brooks being F1, liked what I saw and continued to watch to see the love story.

Anyway, good luck to Des and Chris and best of luck to Brooks and Drew - hope all find happiness in the real world.

In my opinion, if this love triangle were happening in the real world, and she was dating these guys on a real life timeline....well, I think we all know what would've happened.

Like you said, atem, it looks like Chris didn't seem to mind that he was her second choice. I'm pretty bored watching them together, but as long as Des isn't bored than it's all good. The question still remains whether she will get bored with him in the future? She likes the safety and comfort of him now, but she also craves that excitement. She had that glimmer in her eye with Brooks and I don't doubt that she will always carry a small torch for the guy.

Only time will tell.
