I sure wish he'd do a tv interview.  Does the show prohibit him from doing it?

Isn't that bad?! The thing I'm MOST upset about regarding Brooks not being F1 is the interviews!!! I wanted to see him on GMA and Regis so that we could get witty, charming Brooks that we missed out on during the show. I don't really care that much about the "happy couple". More Brooks, please!!!!

I like seeing a girl get what she wants! But I agree I want more Brooks.
I would have felt more comfortable if she had not gotten engaged.

I just watched Brooks' portion of the ATFR again. He was nervous. He looked good. He's charming. He's nice. He's honest. I love how he talks, still. They did go off again. They interact well, but I think that has a lot to do with Brooks. I just think he's probably pretty easy to interact with. You could tell she still likes him a little, but she always will. Those feelings don't go away completely and can be brought up again. She didn't like him for no reason. She'll always be predisposed to like him a little. But I do believe she understands she has to move on and she'll make a life with Chris.

Brooks is the champion here, the strong one, the smart one, to realize that things weren't working out and get out of it. She says in her interview that she doesn't know for sure if she would've picked Brooks or not at the end if he hadn't left, but I'm glad Brooks took the initiative and got out. It makes him look good.

I don't see why CH would still have it out for Brooks. It's unfair to Brooks. He doesn't deserve to be treated that way. It did make me like CH less and is probably one of the reasons my like of the show has been dampened. Brooks is the straw that broke the camel's back because I really like Brooks. I also like Jef, but right after the show I lost interest in him and in following what he does much, so I know I wasn't that interested in him, but I can see always being interested in what Brooks is doing. So, they way they've treated him has determined how I feel about the show a little.

I did find the final show extremely boring to watch - once I realize there would be no appearance by Brooks - I could not wait to the AFTFR show to see Brooks again.  I feel so bad that things did not work out for them but at least he was honest with his feelings at the time.  I do believe had it been in real life when they met, things would have been different - especially if the chemistry seemed so obvious to some at the after show.  Sad.

Agentcurls - more on Brooks please! Was he more attractive in person?

All the guys were more attractive in person! WOW! And Brooks was so nervous but just ooooozing charisma at the same time. It was so quiet during their segment. Lots of sad reactions from audience members. CH really has it out for him. All to fit the the new Chris and Des love story.

I was expecting more than 5 minutes of Brooks last night so will take any bits I can get.

The second point I have, regarding the spoilers, is how would that show have been edited differently if there were no spoilers? I still think the most riveting hour was the breakup. So I'm not entirely convinced that the edit would be that different.

He was so very attractive! And the sexual energy between Des and Brooks was palpable! It was a much different energy than Chris. I still see " something " there with them. With Chris I saw a different " something". More of an innocent, safe, and comforting "love" ? I don't know they can call it that just yet. But CH was uncomfortable with the energy between Brooks and Des and he was really just speeding things along, I felt.

I just watched it again, and I can see that energy, too. And I can see that would be why even thought CH probably likes Brooks well enough, he is kind of off with him, because he is nervous with that chemistry that is still there between them, and I think Brooks was nervous, too, when he said he didn't know how it turned out and that could be adding to the nerves, because he was afraid she'd be single. That's what I think.

I still think Brooks would make a good Bachelor and I think he has enough fans and enough of a good image and enough people wanting him to have a happy ending, that it's possible.

Probably. But what else is she going to say to the question about what would've happened if Brooks hadn't left, when Chris is sitting there right beside her. But that's why I'm glad that Brooks got out, because she was able to switch like that.
