Disclaimer: This is not in response to the posters above--just response into the convo.

What totally blows me away is posters have been coming out and saying so much of this manipulation and producer ploys for years and being totally doubted and labeled all kinds of not nice things because what they have stated is not something acceptable for those wearing rose colored glasses. The convo regarding the contract and what cast are legally bound to--ditto.
This stuff disclosed in the podcast has been around for a long time and and new plot twists will only continue to jump the shark because that's what the creators are all about.

Anyway, just something to put out there one more time when someone posts something that may go against the romantic rainbow fabric of the franchise.

I always knew…and believed….this.
But to hear it come out of their mouths and hear specific examples….I could have listened all night!! Give me more!!

I completely agree with you on this. I was shocked that Jason would even "go there". Does Jason not remember how hurtful it was to see and hear the ugly things written about him during and after his time as the Bachelor? I just don't get it. I truly feel sorry for Drew, his family and his real friends.

Brooks?Des on STAR mag not sure how recent it is thou. This is ONLY a comment l had seen on a rag mag NOT to start up an old thread again. Just thought l would pass this along l was at the grocery store this morning and on the stand to the left of me was the STAR mag, on it was a pic of Brooks /Des in the outside column in the middle w/Brooks say NO lm not GAY (so he must have been getting alot of people ?ing it) But l couldnt read inside cuz l was next in line and couldnt reach over that far to gap the book.

I think Jason lives in a part of the country where being gay is not a big deal. For Jason, this kind of speculation about Drew might be like speculating about a person's politics - maybe a little controversial, but certainly not "ugly".

Of course it's not a big deal to be gay! I think the point is that if Drew were gay, he would be closeted. And that is a painful thing.

I never used the word "ugly" when referring to the issue of whether or not Drew is gay. I used "ugly" when referring to the bashing that Jason took in the media and among some of the members of the Bachelor viewing audience, after he broke it off with Melissa. And for the record, I don't think that Drew is gay, but if he were, it would not change how I feel about him. I think that Drew seems like an very nice young man.

I just don't think that speculating about Drew's sexual orientation during the broadcast of Jason's and Molly's show was a good topic for discussion. And that is just my opinion. Neither of them know Drew on a personal level. But then again, Jason was asked the question, and he chose to answer it. So, you are seeing it from a different point of view than I am. To me, that discussion seemed unnecessary and didn't fit in with the rest of the topics that were being discussed on the show, which was pulling back the curtain and exposing some of the things that go on behind the scenes on the Bachelor and Bachelorette.
