Judy Chandler My thoughts are he won't realize he loves her until it hits him she's gone , and the feelings of emptiness and despair..missing her and wanting her begin to rip his heart out . I think we saw just the beginning of his heartbreak as he walked away from her crying..Poor Brooks, poor Des, They both needed hugs

He says in another tweet that he is there for the "surprise" so we will see him Monday unless it's on the editing room floor.

It's what each person chooses to believe after watching this show and processing all of the information. It's not like some are right and others are wrong. I don't know why this seems to be so hard for some to understand. Everyone here should be able to speak their truth. They should be able to say what they think without fear of retribution or personal attacks. The whole point of a discussion is to have an exchange of different opinions. Not for everyone to fall in lockstep thinking the party line.
It's funny because I have been saying that the one thing I took from that emotional scene Monday night, is that for Des it was always going to be Brooks or no one. If I had any doubt, watching that scene settled it once and for all. However, I have been able to listen to my fellow Drew fans speculating and holding to their hope that Des sees the light and finds her way to him. I have listened to the Chris fans talking about why they think she can still find a way to pick him. I don't see it, but I did not feel the need to demean or disrespect their beliefs. I have told them that they should stick to what they want or hope or believe.
After Monday night, I believed that Des would either be with Brooks in some way or alone. Those were my two possibilities. So now we have the confirmation that she is with Brooks and is happy. Why should I feel shocked or freak out? This was one of my two scenarios. Now it's quite another thing if I talk about what I think of them being together after all that has happened. It's another thing to say what I think of Brooks. It will be up to them to try to make this work in real life. I don't need the fairytale ending. I don't live vicariously through these people. Des made her decision very early on and it's her life. She has the right to choose her F1. She did that. So I accept the outcome. But what I think of it is a whole other thing altogether.
So, you accept the outcome... but what DO you think of it??? Inquiring minds want to know!! :-)
Are you kidding? Have you been reading some of what's being said on this thread for anyone who dares to question the ending or Brooks in any way?
Do I really want to be called "mean" and a "hater"? Not really. That's what happens all too often when you try to say what you honestly think.
What I will say is that Brooks took too much time to make his decision for me to think that it can be undone so soon. He made it a point to go to Boise to see his family and discuss his feelings or the lack thereof, then he flew to Antigua and spoke with CH. He had some time to think it over. If he had just done this impulsively, gotten cold feet all of a sudden, then maybe it would be different. But he was feeling this way for a while. So I just don't see this quick turnaround.
I think Brooks should have left and stayed away. No matter what he might have realized, he just blindsided Des and dumped her in front of a national tv audience. He didn't ask for a retake! I want to see how this all plays out. I have to see how Des is going to come around and pick Brooks as F1. I still do not think Brooks is ready for a serious, lifelong commitment.
That's about all I am comfortable saying at this time. A lot will depend on what happens next. I want to see how Des handles Chris and Drew. I want to see how she resolves what happened with Brooks.

I said this in a previous post. I just do not see how Brooks fans are happy about him returning and being the F1. They are simply being gleeful about a relationship that is destined to fail.

I actually thought Molly and Jason made a great couple and weren't surprised they got married....however not so sure about Des and Brooks...esp with Brooks not being sure about Des. If he doesn't love her in the bubble things will only be harder outside of the bubble.

I agree that most of the relationships formed on The Bachelor and Bachelorette are destined to fail, and I don't watch the show to see a successful relationship form. I didn't have an opinion about Jason and Molly. And I do have a magic 8 ball.
