If Des watched the last episode and saw what was actually said in the PI's, I have no idea how any woman could dismiss the heartfelt rejection and decide to let that man propose and actually accept. No matter how sincere he would be, he would have to really prove to me that he was really in love. A day or two between the walk off and a complete change of heart does not compute. I feel for Des. I feel for Drew. I feel for Cris. I have NO empathy for Brooks he stated quite plainly how he was feeling and it wasn't pretty, albeit the truth and we all know the truth hurts!

And maybe that is why or part of why she deleted many of her IG stuff the next day. hmmm

^^I really think that the IG deletions, Kash, stem from upset with the show's production. She deleted the pictures with the show's producers and Ali plus some other ones that were scenic, I think, or related to work for the show. Did the comments on those pictures contain nastiness? I imagine that, if they did, the person could still add negative comments to her other pictures.

Interesting that none of the rag mags have Desiree on their cover or even a side pic on the cover.

I really believe she is upset with MF and his merry men. It has been three months since that was filmed and if she is with Brooks, don't you think they have talked about all that happened. Des is a smart girl she knew what she had to do to fulfill her contract so I think she was well aware of what they , the producers were doing to Brooks. Remember she kept saying she was in Brooks position, she knew how he felt. Yes, she was probably upset hearing him say, he was not there yet and he did not if he would get there. But, she knows how they are together, what she feels when they are together. She also know what its like to wonder if you are the one, and how devasting she felt when she was let go. I think given a chance they can work thru this because I do believe they are on the same page. jmo:bestbud!:

I am just trying to put some things together here that do not make any sense whatsoever for the "happily ever after". I have no horse in this race. Could not care less who "wins" or if this "couple" lasts 5 minutes or 50 years. Having watched this franchise since the beginning, the unspoken clues are there. No one is drooling over the happy couple. Chris is speaking in less than flattering terms about the so called F1 in the press. The uber-hype is just not there. No "most romantic ever..." and I don't recall an F1 who asked to leave and said flat out "I am not in love with him/her" and then came and had a successful relationship. (Ed and Jillian do not count as "successful" in my book.)

I am right there with you on all the same red flags. Everyone should just go watch that portion on the dock and the walk after. Body language says alot.

Brooks wouldn't answer her questions right away, always a blank pause inbetween.

He didn't look at her that much but past her. Focusing on somewhere else.

She told him not to touch her. "no don't".

She put distance between them by moving away from him on the bench.

The walk off the pier. She is keeping her hands to herself.

On the pathway after a few hugs and a goodbye. The last hug he didn't even touch her. He kept his arms straight down.

Their conversation even said so much. She said she thinks of him all the time, misses him.
His comment was when they see each other it takes a few moments before he remembers what they had together.

If you love someone, there is NO way you are going to forget what you have together. Especially if you are apart.

That's exactly what I'm thinking. If Brooks begs for a 2nd chance, at the ATFR, which I'm speculating happens, I'm not so sure she would accept it at this point. Time has gone by since filming. She has had time to think about this in reality, away from the show. Maybe she feels "how stupid was I" blabbing away how much I loved him, and he basically wasn't feeling it. He said some pretty strong statments. It will be difficult to believe that his feelings have changed from not feeling it, to madly deeping in love with Des.

With Jason, he was so distraught after letting Molly go, we speculated it was TPTB that forced him to do that so they could have the switcharoo at the ATFR. Brooks IMO looked very distraught going through this. Even to the point where he was very caring and gentle with Des, holding her, and trying to comfort her. Usually in a break up situation, you don't touchy feely. The bottom line is this franchise eventually gets to me regardless of whether I have a favourite or not! giggling

Maybe that's why TPTB like recycled contestants as leads. So much more footage can be gained especially when they get rejected on their season. Lots to play mash up and frankenbite .
