I understand how in some circumstances that could happen but I just don't see it here. It just seems like he's not madly in love with her and never will be....I mean the way this show is it sets up people to more likely fall for the lead than they would in real life....if he can't even fall in love with Des in a situation like this then he isn't anywhere close to doing it.

Imagine if Des was your sister for a second, would you truly advise her to take the guy back after what went down last night? In all likelihood most folks would advise for their sister to take a step back and think things through before jumping in again, just wanted to personalize this though I realize this is not real life but a TV show.

I would tell my sister to follow her heart also. And that is just what Des has been saying in every interview. She followed her heart.

i can't wait either. :arrowlove: i do think it would be best if they didn't get engaged, but we'll see how they play things with brooks' feelings next week.

I would do the same. And then support whatever decision she did make. If I needed to be there to pick up the pieces, I would be.

If it were my sister I would tell her to take her time, take a breath, get outside the bubble and then see how you feel. No need to get engaged to fulfill MF's nightmare scenario of a season.

It amazes me how people select 1-2 sweet words to their spin.
How about the other 45 minutes of breaking up on national TV? Any self- respect?

I was embarrassed for her. I got this hopeless, helpless girl clinging on and trying to change his mind by saying she loves him. She wanted him to meet her family....ALL one-sided.
IF he were a MAN, he would take her to the FS, shut the cameras off and talk.
Geez, she clung on to Sean telling him he was making a mistake...
