Both episodes are crazy.

It does seem like the wrong place and wrong time to tell her that. But at least he didn't do that later.

Just because it seems obvious. Doesn't mean it's obvious.

She's happy now. I know that for a fact.

She is happy I promise.

Is it just me but was a good part of the Brooks talk with his mom and sister then with CH edited? I heard mixed messages throughout. I wish I could just point one out but I bet if we put it in slow motion we could spot the edits.

IF he comes back and gives her the world....which part is she to believe? the one from yesterday when he said he wasn't feelin it, or the one with the big rock today? I'd rather that a man give me ONE WORD, no rock, instead of confusion and a big rock; it would show character and mean that I could count on him 100%.

I understand Brooks fans being loyal....but they cannot be in denial that much. Brooks body language (even CH said it) was telling Des that he wasn't all that into her.
As much as I like to see a love story it's better if they all go their separate ways.

Imo, Brooks felt really, really bad for hurting Des. But, like he said to the camera-person, there's nothing he could say to make it better. If Brooks was in love with Des, he would have taken the opportuny to make it right. But he didn't because he knows that he is not in love with Des. As Brooks said while in the limo, he hopes that Des can find love with one of the other guys. To me, that sealed the door from his return.

I think that what we are going to see, in the last episode, is alot of heated discussions and crying scenes between Des and both Chris and Drew; which will eventually lead to a proposal from one of them in the end.

Agreed. If it seemed he maybe would/should return I'd hope for it. That door seemed very tightly shut to me. As a fan of both Des and Brooks - I don't want him to come back. That was brutal. I actually think in his confusing way he nailed it. He cares for her and thinks she's a great person but he knew he wasn't deeply in love, or headed there. He tried to do the right thing, I think. Should have figured it out way sooner, and did lead her on a bit I would say, but also was probably totally played by TPTB.

I keep coming back to "believable". I just want to see something believable. There is no way I buy Brooks coming back and proposing to Des. None. There is no way I buy Des accepting a proposal from either Chris or Drew. None. So why not just be real about it? Why not just say hey, it was an interesting and crazy journey and sadly it just didn't end the way everyone had hoped it would but we are all better for the experience? What is so wrong with that? It would be a whole lot closer to "reality" than Desiree accepting a proposal at this point.

And for the record, my hubby completely sided with Brooks last night. He said there is no way he could fall in love knowing that the girl is spending the night with two other dudes. But now that he knows she loves him, he can be more open to falling for her. The uncertainty is gone.

I think it is believable for him to realize he loves her and for her to trust him. He's now heard she loves him. It caused him great pause and made him angry with her that she hadn't said anything earlier, like that might have helped his "emotional process." It's hard to let yourself fall in love with someone who never says it back and who is dating all these other great guys. I don't blame Brooks at all for where he ended up. In fact, he's the smartest guy I've seen on the show.

On AfterBuzz, Krisily explained why Des would and could trust him if he comes back. Because she's been on this show. She knows what it's like, how it messes with your head, how he feels. She understands where he's at. This is not real life. If it was a real life situation, then yeah, she wouldn't be able to trust him. But this is not a real life situation and she will understand the situation. She'll be able to trust him.

After I heard her say that it made me feel so much better about him returning and proposing. It is AFTER this show that will determine whether they work out or not. Not this show that messes with their heads by the end.
