Canyonvue, please don't mind us over here or get too defensive for your guy Brooks. I really like Brooks and I think lots of other Chris fans like him too. Brooks is my sweet teenage daughter's favorite and Chris is her 2nd favorite whereas it's just flipped for me. I think many of us here just can't believe anyone would pass Chris up but that's our choice. Des is making her choice and that's just fine with me.

I actually like all four of her final guys and look forward to getting to know them more on HTDs. They are all good eggs. Lucky Des!

Re-watching the episode, and I noticed that as the boat is coming close to the shore, Des is sitting on Chris' lap. They say let's go on the island in kind of a silly giddy way and she gives him a quick kiss on the cheek in a real natural way. It was so cute!

hi BKay!!..yup..this particular scene was so cute!!...i was like, what?....:shocked!: . in the preview/sneak peek early on this season they shown the sitting on the lap+kissing scene. but IDK why they cut it all, and only left that "kissing on the cheek". I bet tonz of footage of the hot kisses on the yacht were left on the editing floor too!.. bc too obvious?.... Hugesmile

Ali's Blog about Chris- Des Ep.7

At first I thought Desiree and Chris' poem was cheesy (I mean how many poems can you write?!), but after giving it a minute to set in, I think it's pretty darn cute. I know Desiree is artistic (she designs wedding dresses), so maybe Chris is too and this is how they like to express themselves. How cute would it be if they ended up together and wrote each other poems all the time? They could have a book full of poems. I love it! I love them! I have to say that I'm totally team Dis..or team Chree (Cray?). I have no idea what we should call them, but I'm pulling for them!

And his "I love you" weirdness was a-dork-able! And let's be real here, people force the L-word WAY too soon on this show. Don't get me wrong, I believe in love at first sight! It's never too soon to say "I love you" if you truly fall in love with someone. I know it's possible to fall in love in an instant. When I first said "I love you" to my boyfriend, it came out so easily. It was as if I had waited my whole life to say those words and there was absolutely no awkwardness. My point is that the reason people on this show tend to be awkward when saying the L-word is because they're not ready yet.

Honestly, everyone I've met from this show admits that they didn't actually fall in love on the show, but after the show. Why? Because you don't really know the person when you're on the show. You spend about a total of 12 hours together in the first two months of the show and it's under very strange circumstances. Anyway, I'll end this rant by saying that I think Chris and Des could totally fall madly in love with each other... but I don't think they have it quite yet.

Just managed to watch only Chris segment for about 4 times.. laugh out loud

.and as you can probably tell, I love him more and more… l o v e

if that’s even possible……. He came off as genuine, sincere and just being a beautiful soul…..!.. cloud nine

Oh, and can we talk about his adorkableness when he gets sooo nervous before dropping the L-bomb?.. laugh out loud

…it was so cute!!. JFYI FWIW he tend to rub his eyes when he get nervous. We got to see tonz of this BL on this ep!!...so relax y”all!, that scene on the limo in the preview is likely him getting nervous going to FRC!..(not the other way around!!..to say its him crying in the limo is ridk…)
I love2 how he was so protective of her while walking, watching her steps, guide her. An epitome of what a true gentleman that he is.
Its beyond me that they seems to hide those sitting-on the lap- kisses and yacht make out and try to show us the dull moments. no no

.But hey, sometimes they failed!! I agree with b and BKay that those scenes where he helped her out getting off the ship, and the quick kissing on his cheek were priceless!!.. giggling

I don’t see what was that fuss about him getting the “falling in love” line vs “in love”. I mean, come on!!... Ash said she was in love with Bentley :shocked!: and falling in love with JP. And we all know how Ash get her fairy tale ending.
I agree with y’all. He deserves no less than a woman who could reciprocate his feeling and his adorableness the same, if not more. The Q for now : is Des that woman?
It never failed. I always fall for vulnerable guys on this show : Ryan Sutter, JP, Arie and now Chris. so one thing for sure, i hope he will get the ending he wants. (And im 1000% sure - against all odds (Read : the spoilers)- he DID!! sneakyl

).
Look forward to meet the awesome, solid, Siegfried's family next wk !! :eyesigh:

Just a thought on the Des and Chris poems. I know it's their thing and I think Chris' poems come off sincere and really sweet, however, I cannot help but to think of the future. Say Des choses Chris, I do not think that they are going to be writing poems to each other everyday - that will just not happen! It infuriates me that the production team keeps pushing the peoms because IF Des choses Chris THAT is not going to be their everyday life.

Chris has got so many other things going for him and I feel sad that they are not showing more of his personality and other attributes;

- He is definately even more humorous and witty than he comes across.
- He is intelligent and seems to be able to have deep conversations (that are not shown in any episodes!).
- He is a family man - very stable and reliable.

There are many more amazing things about Chris that could be added to the list!
