Chris is so handsome and sweet and nurturing and "expressive", but I couldn't help but cringe when Des told CH she's at the finish line with Brooks. Please send my guy home, and spare him the embarrassment as he continues to pour out his heart and soul. He must hate watching the show back.

Exactly my thoughts...if you think about it, it's only been more or less 2 months since the show finished filming and he might still be in the process of recovering from the heartache. So having to re-live those moments all over again would be really hard for him. I almost wish he's not watching the episodes :tissuebox

I hear you but what about CHris being the next Bachelor???? I keep bringing this up but I really think he'd be great. He is engaging and witty and just has such a great nature about him. Do you think that he'd be willing to be the lead?

I just have to believe that he is their top pick.

MVMom, I am of 2 minds about this. Selfishly, I would love to see him every Monday on my TV set for 12 weeks. OTOH, I would rather he looks for love in the real world, finds himself a really nice, honest, genuine, beautiful girl who will love him for who he is outside of the Bachelor bubble. Also, with what he just experienced, i don't think he would be eager to do that all over again. Having said that, i think he would make a great Bachelor. Every one thinks he's too bland and vanilla to be a successful lead but I don't think that's the case at all. That's just the edit he's getting right now.

I felt this way after watching Monday's episode. I was glad to see their date but I was really upset with TPTB for pushing the poetry thing. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate his poetry because I know that it is heartfelt. I just knew that people that didn't appreciate it so much would give him such a time about it. I am not so concerned about the real world aspect because if you think about it, any of her dates are still behind the cameras and not real everyday life. I don't think the true relationship starts until the show and all the media hoopla comes to an end. I really wish they would not have kept so much of Chris' personality hidden from us, especially since he is not the F1 anyway. I don't doubt that there is so much more to him and I still love him for what I see on the show. I just don't appreciate the edit.

Very true... Plus, since the spoilers report that Des does not choose Chris, reality doe not come into it anyway.

I have been thinking about the edit, I am not a die-hard fan of the bachelor/ette so I do not know, but do the contestants have a say in what is shown? I cannot help but to think that since Chris appears to be a fairly private person (compared to others on the show), maybe he does not want the world to know all of his personal business? I reckon (as much as it hurts me to say this!) that for the "public" not to know much about him is a major advantage when it comes to Chris moving on with his life!

I totally agree that Chris should find love outside of the show!

I confess that this is the first bachelor/ ette final rose ceremony that I am worried to watch. I do not want to see Chris heartbroken... Gotta remember that I do not really like Des, and Chris can do so much better! :Smiley:

Chris definitely deserves a woman who can appreciate how precious he is. No less. He is such a beutiful soul with loving, giving heart. He deserves all of the happiness in the world!. :yes:

It's pretty darn easy to love this guy! I know what you mean though by that! To the second bolded, that is SO true!
