Re: Chris Siegfried -Bachelorette Contestant - Spoilers - Thread #6
Just to defend Brooks, he doesn't necessarily need fixing. Just because he's going his own pace doesn't mean he has any emotional problems.Baseball Mom wrote:MVMom39forever wrote:
Thanks! I loved Andy/Tessa and totally got Andy doing the chasing of sweet Tessa. I also had a huge crush on JP - one of my other all time favorite guys ever. He is rock solid for Ashley and I see Chris as being the same way towards Des.
I guess Des is a "fixer" and wants to be the one to fill the hole that is obviously in Brooks heart following his poor relationship with his father. I sincerely hope they work together in the long run but he SEEMS to have some issues to address that are deep rooted.
All that said ... as a mother ... I want my daughter to pick someone like Chris and I told her that about a zillion times last night. Pick the guy who doesn't need fixing!!
to my fellow MOM, amen to that!

I so agree, let des go chase brooks while a mature youhg lady(or ladies of he is next bach)who is ready to be in a solid relationship chase after chris. He is absolutely complete husband material and I just want him to be with someone who can emotionally appreciate and support him.
Brooks has never bothered me and I too enjoyed him on mr America date but for some reason with him something isn't consistent and it seems like the light is on but nobody is home.

Maybe it's all the editing but Brooks brought up his dad on the first date and then expressed last night his concern about introducing his family to Des because they had to deal with so much in past (and it was my assumption he was referencing again his father). He got teary eyed both times. Maybe I am making a leap but it seems that Brooks still has some open wounds when it comes to his father. Is that a deal breaker? Of course not!
We all have issues and I am sure Chris has some of his own. But ... from what we've seen of Chris' edit and from what we've heard from Des, he's pretty issue free, happy go lucky, supportive and "good at everything" kind of guy. He is able to use his writing to work through life's rough spots. I just find those to be great qualities in a prospective spouse.

I know he's a little shy but his edit IMO is more dynamic than what we're getting for Drew.
I am wondering if DREW is an option cause of his sad back story, and because of his saying this is the first time he has felt the feeling of being in love, when he expressed that to Des. To me although attractive, Drew seems a little to emtotional to be the lead.
I think Chris would be more confident in his decisions etc for a lead role. JMO
But i still have to wonder if Zak is even an option, he is confident, adventureous, fun and more and has the looks as well.

spot on, MVMOM!!..yup..i agree...he is such an expressive guy, he could said it best in writing. i dont see the big deal of it as some others do. Just as we have different learning style--audio, visual, kinestetic, people also has different styles in expressing themself toward others. My DH only being a romantic person when he writes. When he utter it via words, he was and still awful doing it!!...... .. So yeah, i appreciate my..ups... our Chris for the way he is.

Hi blueberry!!
my take on your Q is either Chris TAKEN or NOT INTERESTED for doing so
as for the show, if you pay attention closely, you can see they gunning Zak as the next lead.

Yes!!!! Such a gentlemen.... I also loved that part, or maybe it was des stayin behind to be by chris. I also caught that flirty moment of her pretending to push him over the boat while the other guys were right there.

Everyone's assuming all these things about Brooks. It's all just story. He could be the greatest guy. Des obviously thinks so.
