I agree! I have never, ever seen Chris in her friend zone and in fact they joked about NOT being in each other's friend's zone on ep 4.

I definitely see more romance on Chris/Des dates and times doing fun or creative things, being athletic, flirting and having meaningful conversations. I also see her on several occasions pulling Chris in with two hands for a full-on kiss.

Back in ep 3 when she gave Chris the group date rose, they essentially slow danced and made out.

During their Munich date on ep 5, they ended it ... slow dancing and making out (and she initiated the kissing at dinner after he read her the poem).

In ep 6 she wrote Chris the poem AND took him to her bedroom ... the only guy that she did that for so makes it special!

In ep 7 she told Chris that she wanted him to meet her parents ... essentially saying that she wanted him in her finale. We did not hear her say that to anyone else.

In ep 8 she recreated in pictures her favorite times with Chris and added in captions ("borrowing" the idea from Zak). I'd say recreating all those scenes on a sketch pad and shading them in various colored pencils takes a whole lot more time and more thought than the list of moments that she wrote with ink on a notebook paper for Brooks.

Remember that old saying ... actions speak louder than words. Maybe TPTB is choosing to show us every word that Des says about Brooks to offset all her loving actions towards Chris. Or, maybe TPTB is leaving out the comments she is saying about Chris.

I just don't think that no-poker-face Des would (or could credibly) string Chris along if she didn't look at him as serious contender. Des is just not an actress. It was obvious that Zak was going home last night just like it was obvious when she cut other guys in past. She totally backed off Zak last night and gave him the "friend zone" pat on back hug when they first met up again in Dallas.

So ... yes, we are hearing her say for two episodes in a row that she loves Brooks and wants an engagement from him. I am disgusted that Fleiss is showing this when the show is still on air and the F4 guys/families are watching. Sure it is a numbers game but let's show a little respect and treat Chris, Drew (and Zak last week) as more than just a number. I think that Des WOULD do that.

I guess this is a long winded way of saying... who the heck knows how this will play out?! It will be really interesting to see if Des starts to back off from Chris (and Drew) in the F3/finale episode as that's her M.O. I am personally just NOT seeing those actions from her yet.

to the bolded, couldnt agree more!!...this is what lead me to believe my Scenario A in my last post may happened somehow. I smell Fleissian manipulation to cover up Chris-Des real connection that way already surpassed her connection with the other guys.
But if instead the Scenario B happening on FD Epis..well, i guess its better for me to skip the finale....since i am absolutely sure my jumping heart couldnt take the dreading of the FRC.

I wasn't grossed out by it either. Not by watching it on tv. I did think it was weird of tptb to keep that part in. I didn't think his dad was weird at all. It's what he does! I can understand how some would think it gross but the over dramatic reactions are a bit much.

Any lil bit given to the fans of others are going to be dramatic about it. I've seen it all season that you have to beat down other contestants to build up your fav? Why? I don't know? But if this is all we have to talk about on chris then let them have it.... Cause we and them know its nothing to be over dramatic about? Quite silly to still harp on it two day later .... But let someone else's fav make out with old women and party down or buy twitter followers and its no biggie right? Hey I'm just glad chris' dad wasn't a gynecologist( see what I did there)! It's all good! We are all flawed but chris despite his nose adjustment is still pretty well liked and just a great guy!!!

If Chris is strung along until the end and there to comfort Des while Brooks goes away ... only to get dumped by Des when Brooks comes back ... well, I can tell you right now who is going to come out of this one smelling like a rose!

Couldn't agree more!!!!! Like I said before let des and brooks go chase and challenge each other and chris his sweet girl who can appreciate a good man( and she gets free back adjustments!! Ha!! Take that des!)

I rarely choose correctly but I think I agree with this. The more I think about it the more I think their families are similar. She may want a perfect family like Drew and Brooks but that is not her norm.JMO

Poor Chris, he's getting slammed in the Brooks thread. I don't think he's boring at all. He's has many lovable charcteristics! Yes, he is a serious guy, but that's not a bad thing.

I think Chris is a great guy. I think her final 4 were all great guys!! I am a Brooks fan, but honestly, I hope she chose who made her the happiest!!

yup, apparently, he is super boring. Don't know how they know that when they clearly haven't met him and all we're seeing is the edited version of who he really is. One thing I know, he is a baseball player and those guys are super fun!
Specially left handed pitchers like him...I know that from experience giggling

its funny. we all have different opinions about perfect fam is. mine is parents still stay together and a close knit family. so in my eyes Chris and Zak's fam are perfect. Its just unfortunate in this HTD the awkward theme HAD to be given to Chris's.
