I guess I'm the only one who wasn't sleeved out by it. I loved their date but Des seemed nervous with his mom. That was my takeaway. She really asked her questions and Des' answers seemed very inauthentic to me.

I wasn't grossed out by it, but then I have a high tolerance for things of a personal nature. I do however respect others who do not have that same tolerance.
Personal lines were crossed for national tv. (I mean afterall, that's one of the reasons for HIPPA--I guess those rights were waived here!) I am not going to go into what I saw--out of respect for the rest of the board, but as a healthcare professional, I was kind of surprised in a snarky way. It was entertaining for me. "Me" being the operative word. rotfl

I don't believe the majority of viewers regarded it so.

The point for me is that they (Chis and his dad) should not have gone through the "Procedure" with TV cameras on. If you give them gold like this, how could you expect them not to use it???

I can only wonder what would have been the outcome if Chris had had rectal prolapse?? Would his dad have popped his rectum back? Praying

Perhaps not as he is a chiropractor! Ya never know!

Yup! I have a high tolerance too and I think my exact words were "why are they showing this to us?!?" And, especially zoning in on his first nostril when there was a bit left over.

But ... but ... this is what Chris' dad does for a living so maybe ... maybe ... it is just second nature and no big deal to share with the world. I personally had no idea that chiropractors offered this "service" with the nasal drain so maybe ... maybe ... he was delighted to have this procedure shown on national tv. Shoot, we've seen enough plastic surgery happen on all those Real Housewives shows and all that fat removal consultations on Biggest Loser, et al.

I just hope last night's HTD drummed up some business for Dr. S! That's the least the producers could do after dragging their boy through the mud and back in coming episodes (assuming that's what's going to happen if spoilers are correct).

Yeppers...autoclave did not appear in the footage...nor did any gloving.

I wasn't grossed out by it either. Not by watching it on tv. I did think it was weird of tptb to keep that part in. I didn't think his dad was weird at all. It's what he does! I can understand how some would think it gross but the over dramatic reactions are a bit much.

Any lil bit given to the fans of others are going to be dramatic about it. I've seen it all season that you have to beat down other contestants to build up your fav? Why? I don't know? But if this is all we have to talk about on chris then let them have it.... Cause we and them know its nothing to be over dramatic about? Quite silly to still harp on it two day later .... But let someone else's fav make out with old women and party down or buy twitter followers and its no biggie right? Hey I'm just glad chris' dad wasn't a gynecologist( see what I did there)! It's all good! We are all flawed but chris despite his nose adjustment is still pretty well liked and just a great guy!!!
