To me chris' fam is probably the most normal! Parents married for 30 yrs, and everyone seems very close there with no issues! Yet we know both drew and brooks there are issues with the dad in the fam. To me that drews da was only let in the house for the recording of a tv show says there is still some issues there. Yet chris Htd gets the weird edit so u have that... Jut goes to show what editing can do that people are thinking chris has a weird fam and brooks and drew have perfect ones when it's really not the case! Not that anyone has a perfect fam, oh dear please never put my family on camera!!!! There will be no need for editing to make them weird

The problem here lies with the use of the word "perfect". Obviously, none of these families are perfect and the contestants would be the first ones to acknowledge this fact. As already mentioned, every family will have their issues, some more than others. What TPTB chose to show us is but a snippet of hours and hours of tape that they have of each family. Chris has had a really good edit(I refuse to use the word perfect) up until HTD. And it could have stayed that way(you know, warm fuzzies all around) but instead TPTB chose to include footage that they could have totally left out, just to inject some negativity. It's all part of the picture TPTB is trying to paint.

yeah...to the bolded, it kept me wondering, to say the least.. .
it took a while for me before realize whats that little devil MF up to : they want us to believe, after this kind of edit, there is no way Chris could be the F1!!....  . OK..let me just say it out loud : Bring on the finale !!  :Clap:

me too!!..but if i was Chris, i would be a bit down after last episode. Its understandable. Hopefully he would just move on, lift his spirit up and share us those lovely adorable pics with his cute grin soon!!

I am happy to see a few people have said some of the same things I'm about to say since I started writing this but here is my take on the situation of a few things that have been posted....

Does anyone else find it odd that so many people on here (in all threads) have such strong opinions about strangers they have seen for 5 minutes on a TV show that is so heavily driven by the producers?  I’ve read a lot about how “perfect” some feel the families were and how "dysfunctional" some feel others were. Some posters have actually attacked every person that was shown, one by one.  None of us were sitting in a corner watching what was actually happening at the HTD and to pass judgment, IMO is just plain wrong. What I’ve had the hardest time with on these forums is how one person can be so supportive of a contestant on one thread and then go to another thread and be so hurtful and mean about that same contestant.  I was very surprised at what I was reading and who was saying it.  

Very few of us in here actually know the families that are on this crazy ride and I can only address the family I do know.  What you saw on camera is exactly what TPTB wanted you to see, period.  They are not perfect and they are not dysfunctional, they do not sit around talking about anyone’s ex (for 5 seconds I might add, not on and on and on), they don’t use mind altering anything (I couldn’t believe that post), and they don’t “want” to show unpleasant things on National TV.  Chris’ family is very important to him and what TPTB chose to leave in and more important leave out was unacceptable to me.  When some of you question what is the right way to do or not do something is unfair, just because you didn’t SEE something happen they way you have experienced it doesn’t mean it wasn’t done.  They film for hours and we see 13-15 minutes of their chopped up edit.

Chris is not adopted, he is not stupid or an idiot and he is definitely not boring.  He is however a very sweet, normal person with a normal family.  Above all he was taught to treat people with respect, not something I’ve seen a lot of around here lately.  I get that they signed up for this show and I get that they know anything they do or say will be shown to the world (contracts), the problem is what they were told to do or say (contracts) isn't necessarily who they really are.  I will never believe anyone, contestants or their families signed up for such hurtful things to be said about them.  Yes, I am also aware that there are people who just love to make fun of others, but I don’t have to like it.  And for those of you who will tell me to just skip over those posts, believe me I've tried but it isn't always apparent until it's too late.

I am just asking you to please remember that any of the families can and probably are reading what is being said on these forums.  You don’t know these contestants or their families, what you have seen are the portrayals of people that TPTB want you to see.  It’s a TV show.

Actually .. There was really nothing wrong with his edit at HTD .. That is what his dad actually does and is part of who Chris is .. His edit wasn't ruined by any means

Is the F3 RC casual?  So Chris wouldn't be dressed in a suit for that right?  If so there is no other time for him to be driving to or away except for FRC, correct?

Or maybe this is the first formal F3 ceremony and she lets him go at then.

Sorry missed the posts about folks thinking all are involved in FRC.

i believe Chris is in the F2.and at FRC from analyzing the SCs. I also believe Des will let Drew go before FRC

Totally part of what he does and who they are...I would prob prefer if they did not show it if it was me...but there is absolutely nothing that was shown that did not reflect well on this family. Mom was emotional, oh well...so am I. They mentioned an ex and him being hurt, what parent or sister wouldn't be worried in that situation.

F3 rc must be formal this time... I say that because we have screencaps of chris attending two rc in Antigua. One in a grey/blue suit and another in black/wht suit. So he is def in your f2!!! I don't know what happens with drew or brooks but our boy is there til the end!
