Just in addition to what ND has posted above...some people have said her honesty is what they like about Des the most..not hesitating to say she was in love with Brooks. And I get that....However, if you think about it, did the other guys, not F1, not deserve her honesty as well? If she is so sure about her feelings for Brooks, she should have just let Chris and Drew go because at this point, what's going on is virtually a farce. Chris and Drew have no idea she's declared her love for Brooks on camera twice while filming was still going on, but she does. To me, that is the worst kind of deception; pretending to have  feelings for these 2 sweet guys when all along you and the whole world knew, it wasn't true. If it's anybody other that Brooks, then I would feel really sorry for that person. It's like a slap in the face. And please don't tell me she didn't know her confessions would be put on air...of course, she did. Sorry for the rant...back to lurking now.

what makes my heartache is Chris kept saying she is the one! with Des thru his poem, in his PI,VO, and now with his Dad and Mom....too hurt and too hard to swallow if he is not the one in the end!!  .

Wow JBF!  I don't know how true this is but I think Des throws the L word somewhat loosely, mainly because she loves the feeling.  This season really is a ride.  Just curious what do you think is Chris's conflict to overcome, to surpass Brooks?

I think Brooks is the conflict to overcome for Chris in the end.  

Side note/questions: She has only prepared thoughtful gifts for Chris and Brooks?  And she only brought gifts to the HTDs for the families of Chris and Brooks?  And she only has said love in re: to Chris and Brooks?

Drew's last two dates have both really choked me up and this week he clearly surged ahead of Zak for at least the F3 spot.  But the edit we're getting from her about Drew is not on the same level as either Drew's feelings for Des- or her feelings for the other two.  

Maybe this changes but with only two weeks left of the actual "journey" including (theoretically) FDs for 3 guys, LCDs for 2 guys, MTPs for 2 guys + 1 strange ass brother, and the FRC for 2(?) guys- this anticipated s&%tshow still isn't on the road yet.  Maybe I'm just getting antsy but I can't help but feel like we're running out of time here for conflicts still to happen and then be overcome in time to pick out the weirdest ring in the Neil Lane box.

After they showed the Chris' version of the Dyson performance on his left nostril, there should be no doubt that he will not be F1.
I have to give the editors props for keeping the booger count down, but I can't recall another more humiliating scene for an F2 since the panty shot with Chelsea during Matt Grant's season. The only reason to leave that shot in was to make a sick mind like mine entertained.

I was so disappointed last night the abc channel was horrible , the screen would go black and then distorted and than lose sound and this went on through all the HTD's . so missed out on all that was said and done .

wow...well put, auntie..it does makes sense. i remember they set up this "rivalry" by Chris's PI ever since Ep.3...repeated on Ep.7..and maybe it will reach climax on last episodes.... ..but funny, putting spoilers aside, esp. from Chris's PI on Ep.3. i didnt get the vibe that he is the defeated one..coming out of left field??...

Bingo - that is exactly the problem we find ourselves in this season.
Everything seems to be hidden and unresolved and there is no apparent time for it to all smoothen out.

Yeah Brooks is an obstacle for Chris... but... again... we have that line from episode #2 regarding heartbreak "then it means I wasn’t meant to be with that person".
