Do we know which side is west at the FRC location? Where is the sun supposed to set -- behind Ashley in this picture toward the ocean? or from her left/right/in front?

It looks like toward the ocean from how I am looking at it




nd4reality -- I was thinking the same think about her crying...it's really hard to tell if she's being emotional about the proposal or sad and therefore crying...though I have a hard time imagining the F1 rejecting her at the FRC location if he at all imagines proposing to her at any point in their relationship

I wish Mr Write could do his magic with Google Earth and post a pic! The little island on the left of the picture is Northwest of the island of Vomo.

Can anyone see the podium with the FR ???

So do you guys think JP and Ash left Fiji not engaged?

We don't have any SC that right now to answer that question :greenman: -- all we can know from the SC is that

1. BSG (we think Ben F - quite conclusive: hands, stance, narrow tie) came earlier in the day when the sun is high
2. Ashley ran after someone when the sun is higher than the time GSG came
3. Ashley does a PI about waking up optimistic then her day was ruined - something cruel happened
3. GSG (we think JP - this is not conclusive outside of facial hair & him owning striped shirts) came later in the day when the sun is lower
- Ashley was noticeably upset at this point holding back from crying
4. GSG walked OR paced away from the podium (this does not mean he left since he could simply be pacing)

I agree that that looks like a rose - but that doesn't look like a podium at all. They always set up something away from the perimeter, that just looks like part of the decorative edging. Wonder if maybe that was a staged FRC moment for added drama before they set it up with the podium and rose.

Guess I'm just slow. Are y'all saying that the video is shown in reverse? Because in the video he is walking up to her and then turning his right shoulder toward the ocean.

yes - check out her bangs which are flipped so the scenes with GSG are all flipped...

btw noob my personal opinion based on other evidence outside of SC is that Ashley is with JP it's just we don't have conclusive evidence from SC to say either way... theres a good chance they're blowing up JP pacing into a big ordeal or he did really walk away and then something else happened then they're together now... :Nod:

I just can't imagine that JP would feed into the whole drama of the show and filming by not proposing to Ashley if he ever intends to propose in general. I think he'd rather propose for both of them to save face rather than stage a whole dramatic 'let's wait' scene for the sake of the snow's drama if he does want to be with her.

My take on the whole thing after watching in slo mo about a dozen times is that F2 (Ben) comes and she talks to him..it looks like she is trying to pull her hand with the tatoo back from him and he is pulling it closer. Whatever happens she is distraught and the crying scenes take place. I think between then and F1 she has her makeup freshened up and that is when the earrings switch sides. GSG (JP) to me looks like he is not walking away from her but moving to the side instead of in front of her....esentially the 90 degree turn they normally take. She looks sad but I think it is more serious and tension of the moment because at the final seconds of the slo mo you can see she is just starting to break into a smile. JMO but that is what I see when I look at slo mo.

I think so too..and her hair is very curly with JP too..so they also re did her hair..

You guys are all amazing!! Can someone compare her facial expressions when she was talking to JP about Bentley with these SC's? Would it tell us something if they are similar? i.e....is that how she looks when she is anxious or nervous? Just wondering.....thanks everyone for what you do.

I don't. Based on everything we've heard from her and RS, etc from the past few days I think they are, and the show is just trying to make a small situation much worse than it actually is.
