The point made I believe was that knowing (according to spoilers) that Des picks brooks, you watch the season differently. Most of us do anyway. And the qualities/personality we see of Des when thinking of her with Brooks are different (not meaning better, just different) than with Chris or with Drew.

So when saying "rethink Des", I think it means that who she chooses would tell us a lot about what she wants in life. If it's not brooks, it would be different to what she has said or to what we have been assuming she wants (as we were under the impression what she wanted was Brooks).

I see NO criticism or negativity towards Drew or Chris in the post. Just the fact that Des chosing them would change how we see her (some will think her better and some not, all personal  judgement!)

Your post is well stated Sophie.     But, when you look at other posts of Canyonvue and how they seem to be negative of Drew and Chris, I can understand how posters will feel that CV is making yet another dig at Chris and Drew.  Thanks for trying to make everyone understand how CV may of meant it to be in that post.  :Smiley:

Aunties_Love, I think the bolded is such a good question, I wanted to try to answer too.  I am a Brooks fan, and I'd like to think it's for more reason than just the spoilers, but I don't think it's possible to be sure.  I am always disappointed when the lead doesn't pick my favorite, although I get over the disappointment pretty quickly, especially when the lead is clearly happy with his/her choice.  Desiree was my favorite in Sean's season, but he made the best choice for him with Catherine.  If I met Brooks, Chris, and Drew myself, Brooks is the one I'd be most interested in getting to know better.  All three are clearly fine men.  I love a season when my favorite and the lead's favorite are one and the same.  But I try very hard to see who's best for the lead, even if it's not my favorite.  It appears to me that of the F3, Chris is the most mature and the most ready to make a life-long commitment.  I just can't tell who's first in Desiree's heart, but I believe she will let her heart do the choosing.

You are such a bad mama, you're volunteering a new born baby for 1F?  Im gonna call CPS!

And if you are signing up for  Brooks' Bach Season,  he will need a bunch of viagra and an ambulance. You definitely have more stamina than he has.

He already looks like a candle burning in both ends as it is  but one fantasy date with you and you'll finally snuff the light out of him.

PS: Nate as the Next Bachelor?  Why not,  if the production will be allowed to film inside the Bakersfield Correctional Facility.
They could actually do fun dating activities like, how to escape from prison using a toothpick, or tattooing eyebrows together,
eating slop outside solitary confinement etc.

I just tried to explain how I read her post. Maybe I am wrong though and she intended it differently, but that's how I read it.

I like these 3 boys, I really do. And yes, I do believe my source. But I wouldn't ever assume just because you like/love/fangirl on 1 mean you dislike the other 2!
God knows I like both Arie and Jef (yes, still... sue me!)  and never understood why fans pitched themselves against each other when they are such good friends.

Seems Brooks and Chris are very close as well, not sure about Drew but I wouldn't be surprised as these guys seem to get along really well. Why cant their fans do the same? It is Des' choice, not ours.

Thanks again for your thoughts Sophie. I am trying to maintain neutral this time as I really don't have a fave per se..I just see edited qualities in Drew and Chris that resemble my hubs so having someone rip on them or have so much negative on them, kinda stirs up the "growly wife" in me. LOL. I guess I have never understood why it is necessary to make the other guys look bad to make your fave look better is all. Hugesmile
