Please, don't attack or belittle someone because they don't see things the way you might.
Thanks.

Apologies! I didn't mean to come off attacking or to belittle But I was/am legitimately perplexed by the answer and was serious about the fortune-telling because of the sheer certainty of how the post was written. Wondered if perhaps, they knew something we don't.

I'm a matchmaker of sorts. I've studied various relationships, and have a pretty good understanding of how they work. My motivation for doing so came from a past relationship that I could never figure out how to reconcile. I had three small children at the time (a two week old baby, another one year old and a four year old). I was very much emotionally attached to them, but couldn't seem to find a way to work things out with their mom. It literally broke my heart to see what it was doing to my kids, and how it would affect their future. For two years I worked on reconciliation for the kids sake. And then just gave up. Several years later, I came across some newer research on relationships. And have added to that research myself. Turns out, their mom and I were in the kind of relationship that had no hope of working, and was destined for failure. I am in the process of developing a dating app that will at least let people know, who they potentially could be in a long-term soul-mate kind of relationship with. No guarantee that any of these potential soul-mate relationships will actually work out. But at least help prevent people from getting into known bad relationships, which have little hope of working out.sfrank wrote:MatchMaker wrote:This is what will happen if Des chooses Brooks, when it comes to real life. Not implying Des and Chris are necessarily right for each other, but they do compliment each other.
What I am missing...are you forsoothsayer or psychic? I just trying to figure out how you came up with this?

How do know what Brooks "expectations" are for Des? I'm not saying that they are "meant to be FOR-EVA" but I don't know how any of us can know what either expects of each other. For all you know, it could be the other way around and he doesn't live up to HERS.
I disagree that they don't compliment each other. She has said over and over that Brooks brings out the best in her -- even last night in front of all the guys. My guess would be that Des and has a much better idea of who compliments her than we ever would. Perhaps, I'm watching another show. :greenman:
That aside, I think Chris is awesome but I don't see Des as the girl for him. Sorry. :halo:
BUT, I think Chris will met his "soul-mate" very quickly after the show, as so many other "favorites" have before him.
It's just an opinion. We don't know what Brooks' expectations are, or what Des' are. But we know Des' more so than Brooks. And what she has said matches with Brooks very well. She has said that Brooks matches very well with her, as well. I think she will pick based on who she feels strongest for and whom she feels fits what she wants most. Afterward, they can then get to know each other better. But if she's smart, she should know pretty well already if one guy really fits with her and her life and expectations. And she seems to have thought that was Brooks.

b wrote:So I just watched Chris' date on my phone. I get what several have said that they have a romantic friendship. And yes, she doesn't have the same chemistry w him as w Brooks. But one thing I did notice is that Chris is the only guy, other than Brooks, that she doesn't pull away/end the kissing. She even initiated several kisses. Could be that I missed something since I was watching on my phone.
I see that too, b!!...she is really into him..but i guess Chris is still try to figure out himself how to express his feeling, in this weird, fast environment, mind you, in front of the cameras. He is more reserved guy than Brooks, IMO. They have such sweet subtle chemistry, a slow burn if one may say, not a fireworks one. This kind of chemistry works better for a long-haul

nd4reality wrote:MVM are you saying that you still see Brooks as physical edit ? Like Roberto ? can you explain please - I'm interested since Roberto got a 'you are so beautiful, no no no - YOU are so beautiful' edit without any convos of substance shown either. Just like Brooks is being edited.
thats why i still think there is a slight possibility that Chris is the F1. We have heard that they will show us a love story unfold this season, maybe bc Des is their lovely, sweetheart lead. and i dont see it with Brooks edit. Instead, Chris got this fairly tale, Prince Charming edit. Even Des blatantly brought it up in her People Blog. Not that i am complaining...hehe. So, the big questions for me is, whether the Machine will endorse this fairy tail in the end or ruin it?....Time will tell. I do remember though, what u once mentioned, nd : The fairy tale seldom pans out with this show!...hahaha...how tragic...

Jason did not choose Molly. It was later on ATFR, that he realized his mistake. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EfhEvLf9GM
Jason and Molly are in a long-term soul-mate relationship that takes time to naturally develop. In fact, it is the exact same type of relationship that Des and Chris have (but with male and female roles reversed). Wouldn't it be so funny if Des does choose Brooks. And then later on backtracks like Jason did!
One interesting characteristic of a long-term soul-mate kind of relationship, is that it is not as obvious when you are in one, as when you separate from your mate for some time. Then it becomes pretty obvious how much you need/depend on the other person. It is a very complimentary relationship. Loosing one's other half can be very disrupting to one's life. [Maybe Jason got a little taste of that for himself.]
You know what, ive read somewhere, that Des is actually an introvert person. She found herself drained with the pace of this silly show. and somehow it explains why oftenly she just end the convo with the kisses. She got too overwhelmed with the process, where she should make prompt decisions involving so many people. So yes, i can see her being so indecisive in the end..thus pulling `a Mesnick` still being a possibility, IMO. Good post, Match Maker. Keep em coming....
