Hi Pattycake: I really am not trying to be arguementative. When Capegal saw Chris, she was one of us who we knew and trusted. We know ANYONE can go on twitter and say ANYTHING. It doesn't matter if they live in the same city as Ben, JP or whoever. It doesn't mean they are correct. They may think it is Ben, JP or whoever, or they may be messing with us. I guess I am just saying, let's take it into account, but not hold it as evidence.


And really, I am happy either way for Ben. If he loves Ash and she picks him, terrific. If he loves Ash and she picks JP, good for them and I think Ben will get over it. If either is TB, go for it. If either decides to walk away from the franchise and find love on their own, I hope we are able to know and share in their news, like we got to do with Chris and Peyton.

I am feeling we need more screencaps and to see tomorrow's episode. Two weeks in between episodes is too long. We have time to get antsy.

ITA that it is different when a report comes from someone we know and trust, and maybe it's a question of semantics, but I think this illustrates the difference between evidence and proof. I would call the sighting of Chris by a reliable source when we knew it was a safehouse weekend to fall more into the category of "proof" (even if some chose to ignore it), rather than "evidence", which only helps to support a belief, but is not in itself conclusive. The definition of "proof" is evidence sufficient to establish a thing as true. So all proof is evidence, but all evidence is not proof. What we had regarding July 4 weekend on Ali's season was more reliable, thus, proof; what we have regarding Ashley's season is merely evidence, that is yet to be proven (and may never be).

To take it further, those independent twitters describing sightings and activities of Ben that weekend do exist. What is the likelihood that they were all either mistaken or purposely faked, and is it logical to assume that, and for what purpose? Also, is it merely coincidental that nobody tweeted about a JP sighting during that same timeframe? We don't know the answers to these questions, but these circumstances can be added to the mounting evidence supporting JP as F1. Should similar circumstances exist regarding Ben, they can be added to evidence that supports Ben as F1.

You have said this perfectly how I feel..Who ever Ashley picks hope that they can make each other happy..I sure the F2 is doing just fine..

I don't believe JP's at "3rd base". Ashley made it clear that she was beginning to have strong feelings for him but the 1st date didn't seem to make much of an impression because of where her mind was at. I also think that we need to see her with Ben at his 2nd 1 on 1 before we compare.

Oh I definitely think JP is at 3rd base just off that tram ride! Plus when she kissed him after giving him the rose on that date, she slides her hand down his neck and inside his shirt collar resting her hand there for another kiss. Kind of an intimate gesture imo.
