Zak needs to then learn to stop with the self tanning then. I bet they cut his first kissing scene with Desiree, because his head and neck area were more orange than the rest of his body!

I will watch the show no matter who the lead is. I didn't like Sean in Emily's season, nor his own, but watched until the end regardless. I wish everyone the best once they've left the show to pursue their relationships. I love the success stories and continue to watch in hope of seeing more such relationships. The odds aren't that great, but you can't beat the odds unless you try.

I watch every season, too, but I'd seriously have a hard time watching if it's Zac. I just think he's gross. Sorry.

I think being an entrepreneur, like Jef is, is a very respectable job. He's working smart. He's independent. He's the type that will make big money; not just be a worker bee. You have to think differently than most people to do it. Would you call his friend, the other guy who founded PW, the one who had the idea (I can't remember his name) someone who doesn't have a respectable job? I think his friend is very admirable. Or is Jef just not respectable because of all the tabloids and rumors about him; some that just may not be true or are twisted and stretched.

I`d like to watch Drew on my screen too. But I do think that he is more introverted than Chris. They would probably reach for another option than one of the existing guys from this season IMO. But of course we are at the half way point and have not clue how these guys are going to be eliminated and the outpouring of support at that time. That will make a huge difference.

my previous post has nothing to do with other prev Bachelors (umm maybe Sean, a little?.... ),let alone Jef, who has never been a Bachelor. Am i missing smth here?...oooh.i assume maybeeee you r thinking right now he is being considered as next TB, perhaps?

I just found its endearing that they have an accomplished engineer this season. Since i am an engineer myself, i always find an engineering guy as sexy and manly (including my DH  ).and i do know the petroleum engineering - spesifically drilling fluid like Zak`s field required hard work, intelligence and dedication. Thats why i called it as a respectable job/career.

Steve Jobs was an entrepreneur. Martha Stewart and Oprah Winfrey are entrepreneurs. Hell, Brad Womack is an entrepreneur. Jef Holm is a little rich kid playing with daddy's money. Big difference.

Honestly, I'm not sure who out of this crop of guys I'd pick for the next Bach. Most of them come off as pretty effeminate. I'm not sure some of them could handle one woman, let alone 25.

I think Fleiss should have cast Sarah Herron this season. She would have been more interesting, and as her blogs show, she's funny as hell. Des is super sweet and super produced. Combined with this bunch of effete suitors, it just hasn't made for compelling TV. And I'm a die-hard fan. I think they need to switch things up or risk further ratings decline/cancellation.

I don't usually find the lead the most attractive, either, though they're not totally unattractive. But at least I can see how he would be attractive to other women, and how the ladies in the house would end up thinking he's the bee's knees and fight over him. I just don't think Zac would make a good lead to fight over. I can't see them coming up to the mansion and saying "Oh, look at him! He's gorgeous!" I think the reaction might be different.

I'd love to see Drew as the next Bachelor, but he might be too straight-laced. I could handle Chris, although he has a dorky side and is more introverted. I wish that Des didn't pick Brooks and then we could see him on a whole season. If you think about it, he'd be the perfect fit because he would get his heart broken if she doesn't pick him and it'd break peeps' hearts (or if she breaks up with him post-show); and many girls absolutely :Drool: over him.

Ya know, continuing with what I was just saying, and thinking about the options, now I see that Jef may be one of the only options available. Jef or Arie and you haven't heard much from Arie.

Drew would be the cutie pie that everyone fights over and loves, for sure (except for those who continue to insist that the guys this season are largely effeminate). But he's too straight-laced. Unless he loosens up in further episodes I can't see him being a totally electric lead. Chris, like I said, good choice, but may be too introverted and dorky. Still, kind of a romantic lead, I think. I don't know. He has qualities that may not make him the perfect fit. Brooks is taken, at least for a while. Zac . . . it just wouldn't work. Too unbelievable that the girls would even care. And most likely wouldn't. He's a little too brazen with the lack of clothes, as well. So, I think you revert back to Jef and Arie. The end.

At least you know girls go gaga over both those guys. I don't Arie. All I see is his lips. But I know plenty do. Funny, all I see is Zac's lips, too, lol. And neither in a good way.

This is getting plain ridiculous.... You guys act as if he was some monstrosity! He is perfectly good-looking guy(he may be not attractive to you, but in general perception HE IS a handsome man) and if you would vent a bit out side of this forum, you would see the kind of tweets and messages he is receiving and how many ex-Bachelor contestants tried to "contract" him....

To say he is gross, etc. is just plain rude and completely ridiculous on top of it... and no, this is not just my opinion it's a fact!

Drew is so hot, I don't think they'll care about his personality. He has all the criteria to be the bachelor even though he's a little reserved. They picked Sean, hello? Zac is okay looking but certainly not hot enough for the bachelor. I think they'll do whatever it takes to land Drew. And I think he would be an excellent choice.
