Episode 7 - 7/08 - Bachelorette 9 - Discussion - Spoilers

Did you'll notice how Des was welcomed by Brooks family? There was a bunch that jump and went to hug her. Brooks also had a BIG smile on his face.

Yes that is one big family and they are close. Hope we see the nieces and nephews too. Also hope they wear name tags because we all know how messed up Em got calling one of Jef's brothers, Andrew.

I am sure in time she will learn all their names. Brooks will have to give her a crash course.

After Des's interview with CH where she practically screams Its Brooks, I am wondering if all of the drama with Brooks isn't manufactured. After all it is still too early in the season for it to be game over.
And not to beat a dead horse but I was so sad to see Michael go even though I knew it was coming. I loved that he called his momma. Michael I am cute your age , successful, available and one state over. Come up to Hotatlanta and I will make it all better!

I disagree. Brooks is into Des but he smartly is not in the Bachelorette Bubble which I think is healthy. Every other guy is tripping over themselves to tell her. I also think it will be that much more significant  WHEN he does say it.

I think Brooks is totally trying to keep his head and out of the Bubble. If he is indeed F1, she will appreciate his thinking outside of the circumstances and seeing that he was trying to keep this a real relationship despite the push the show has for premature expressing of emotions. Our Brooks is still in the real world, not in the clouds. I don't doubt his sincerity, nor his feelings for her and this gives me a new respect for him.

ITA. The others aren't strong enough to fight the pull from the Bach Bubble. The others are drunk in the:koolaid: . Racing to express their feelings without thinking things through. That's why it might :atomic: 
in their faces.

Sometimes its not about fighting the bubble, its about trying your best so Des will not look like a fool.

He said so in the beginning, (foreshadowing) at the end he fears there will be zero Bachelors left. Bryden left, Brian had a gf, James was not there for the
right reasons, Ben is a tool, Brad needs to take care of his kid.

And we're watching Des go through the motions which makes for a very long and boring season, because she already chose Brooks on episode 1.
(among other things)

The suitors don't have to say I love you right away, all they have to do is just not freak out and ride it out. Be there for the lead so she will not

feel alone and rejected.

Also, how sure are we that this freak out thing (if its true that Brooks freaked out and left ) is not producer manipulated drama.

They are all knee deep in the kool aid, if they were'nt they are kicked out early, ( like Zak Kalter etc)


The CH interview also makes sure to tell us that the lead girl is so much into this guy who's not quite there yet in terms
of expressing his feelings etc. Isnt this Des' MO when it comes to guys, that she's always finding someone who is not expressive
and not into her as much as she's into him.
So where is the fairy tale in all of this, if she is just repeating her pattern? If Brooks came back and realized the error of his ways, its not the kind of
fairy tale that the viewers are looking for.

This is the Bachelorette, the man should be working hard to win the girl not the other way around.

I don't get where Brooks is not communicating that he needs more time to me. I think he has been telling Desiree how strongly he feels for her, but he was in the same situation as Bryden with the very first date and barely any time with her after.

Yeah. I'm not that attracted to him. He reminds me of a guy I use to date and that guy ended up being a jerk.
