Michael called his mom. She did tell him something that might fit in the end. If you love the person more than they love you then it's not meant to be. Works both ways. The guys might love Des more than she feels for them. BUT.....Even if she fell for Brooks first and is over the moon for him, it doesn't mean he won't equal her feelings in the end.

I think this was TPTB's idea..I remember awhile ago when this was happening in real time, his tweets made it seem like he was going there and the producers were the ones behind it

For anyone on the fence regarding the spoilers, I think tonight's episode is SOLID confirmation that Brooks is F1. They would not have shown her saying that she is in love with him otherwise. Its obviously game over for her and for her to pick anyone else at the end would look like a default pick and completely disingenuous.

Well they could always reedit that someone has overtaken Brooks. Remember the previews from before. I'm going to let my heart tell me what it NEEDS, not what it WANTS? I do think it's hype. She wants to serve herself on a silver platter to Brooks but he's a realist and has to think things through. Even if Brooks did leave and come back, how can she refuse after what she feels now. She's wholehearted with him in feelings, chemistry and being herself. She's half hearted with the rest.
