Has anyone uploaded them? I would like to see them..missed that part of the show..
They are on the chris thread. But I agree, they were weak.

That whole thing with Des ripping into first Ben, then Brian and finally James was so scripted, and I have no doubt that Des DID NOT CARE one iota about ANY of those so-called "bad guys" by the time that the MTA was filmed. In fact, Des probably had to be reminded by the producers what exactly had transpired so that she could act sufficently indignant toward them. So, I was disappointed with Des, but I have no doubt that she was "heavily encouraged" to follow the script. They needed something to fill up that two hours with.
ITA. Other than my fig newton Zak, I was bored to tears with last night's MTA. Des was most definitely instructed to be a b*tch with the so-called bad boys to make the MTA more entertaining. It was an epic failure. From them bringing in Ali, Emily, and Ashley to school Des in how to put a bad boy in his place to her pissy little attitude with the men (even those who were apologizing for their actions) it made Des look bad. Why be petty and vengeful with men you hardly knew, that you really didn't like, and who really didn't do her any harm, if she is happy and in love with her F1? They edited her to look worn down by the process, even sullen faced about the weird ending. I am sure that was in keeping with TPTB's plan to make it seem as if her true love got away, but for me it just made the MTA seem even flatter and more depressing than it already was.
I think with Zak on the fence about being TB, with Drew in LA pursuing modeling/entertainment offers, and with Arie and Jef as longshots, TPTB strutted out their Latin pony Juan Pablo to get a gauge on how much fan support he'd have as TB. Women find him both exotic and down-to-earth sincere. After all of the positive feedback JP is receiving, I think he'll be put on the short list. I personally would prefer a season of fig newtons compared to a season of jalapeno poppers, but, hey, that's just me.

Well, add me to the list on the Juan Pablo train, and although I think it's unlikely he'll be the next Bachelor, it's not unprecented to choose someone who got eliminated at F8 (Pavelka), and/or never got a solo date (Bob Guiney), although this would be the most limited airtime a recycled lead would have ever had. But after seeing how cheesy Zak was last night, I'm starting to fear that he'd morph into Pavelka part 2. I'd be absolutely on board with either Chris or Drew, but JP would be the most entertaining IMO and I suspect his would be less formulaic a season than the others.
With the "chat" Des had at the beginning of the episode with Ali and Emily (I don't think Ashley contributed one comment, she is so over this kind of stuff IMO, and was probably just contractually obligated to appear, or maybe she and her JP just wanted a free weekend in LA ), clearly Des' mission from TPTB was to grill and humiliate the "bad boys". Other than the big twist that is coming, which they aren't touching yet, there really was little else of interest this season as far as other incidents or the group dynamics in general, to discuss, so they had to rehash this stuff AGAIN. Personally, I didn't have much sympathy for either Ben or James; when you sign on to do this show, if you're not going to make a real effort to get along with your fellow contestants (or if you have a history of antagonistic relationships in a group setting), you run the risk of getting this type of bad edit. And I think that James complaining that he was "bullied" was inappropriate, and belittled what it really means to be bullied, for all the HS kids who deal with it through no fault of their own.

Just wanted to say how much I LOVED it when the audience groaned in disbelief when Chris H was raving about "the most shocking ending in bachelor history ever". At least he acknowledged the skepticism.

I have spent most of this evening watching The Men Tell All from the last three seasons, Ali, Ashley and Emily. At the beginning of each show Chris H sat down with each of the leads and talked a out their journey and some of the things the audience did not get to see. And each time he reference the final two guys he said the name of the F2 first. Chris and Roberto are not here , Ben and JP, Arie and Jef. I find it interesting that we did not see the sit down with Des.

I don't know if it is coincidental, but in each of those cases, they are in alphabetical order as well. I have noticed in the past that he has gone by that when saying names, so don't know if he is using that in this case.sydney1 wrote:I have spent most of this evening watching The Men Tell All from the last three seasons, Ali, Ashley and Emily. I actually enjoyed the MTA this time. I have a problem with Juan Pablo..I don't understand him half the time. I sure hope he does not become the bachelor.

I suspect if Juan Pablo is the Bachelor, TPTB will see to it that he is given some English and elocution lessons. JMHO.

Sorry if this is wrong, but I couldn't figure out where to put these SC's. I offered to post some to save Love some time. If you think they look strange, I purposely picked them out that way for my blog!
