I watched the MTA again last night and was struck by the way Des defended herself against Ben and James. In particular, she repeated to James, that he was manipulating her…. And it occurred to me that those could be Drew’s words (did he say something about James' manipulation in a PI?)… like he was coaching/supporting her before she went on the show.

I thought it was more, her repeating Ali's words. That is exactly what Ali told her to say when all the Bachelorette's had their chat.

Yeah basically.. and even what she said to Jonathan was just so unlike her, or so I thought. The dude was sincerely sorry about it and maybe it was edited weird, but she came across as a puppet of what everyone else says.
