Yes, and I remember soft porn-style music playing sometimes during her interactions with Roberto, even when they were discussing something more serious, like during dinner on their FD. Pretty comical. They will use music in the edit that will try and throw us off track. Chris L. had a lot of the romantic sweeping overture music.

Yep! This Season minds me alot of a combination of Ali's & Brad's Seasons with regards to the Spoilers. You're absolutely correct that Ali had her friends telling people that she chose no one and with the Brad/Emily Season the Spoiler claimed that Chantel was F1 and just about everyone was convinced she was F1 until someone noticed a child's drawing (kite) on Brad's refrigerator. I don't recall, but I think that Brad, Emily and her daughter flew kite's on his MTP date.

i think ali's season is a good comparison for des' but it's like she got both frank & roberto rolled into brooks with him leaving and coming back. giggling

We know that San's sources on set said that Des fell hard and early for Brooks (and it was obvious). Clearly production has a show to put on and they don't want millions of unspoiled viewers to stop watching because it's obviously Brooks.

I'd think that any unspoiled casual viewer would assume Chris was F1. Last episode Des took Chris to bedroom and read her poem to him. Now this is a Bachelorette first!! Plus all of the previews showed Chris and Des in very romantic embraces ... all positive ones.

However, last ep we saw Des & Brooks talking & cuddling & kissing on couch but we couldn't hear what they are saying. We just see them comfortable together. For the extended previews, loads of Brooks drama and tears.

This seems to be a prime season of what really happened vs. what TPTB want viewers to think happened & needing to piece together a show each week based on thousands of hours of film that we'll never see. That's why it just seems a bit futile to come to any conclusions on who's the F1 based on the edit we are seeing.

I think the edit can point to next Bachelor and IMHO all signs point to Chris. Athletic, romantic, goofy, reasonable, take charge, handsome, gentleman, friend to everyone. He talked to James in a very sensible way. He was there for Des when Bryden left. He is just the full package.

Question:

Do we have any clues about safe house visits with Des & Brooks? You'd think with long 4th of July weekend there'd be some signs of travel on Brooks part at least.

I think with Des residing in LA area and Brooks in SLC, it's probably been easy for them to meet somewhere in the middle by car, or least someplace obscure given the geography between LA & Utah? Des did say she loves road trips.

Yup, strange. I can't figure out if TPTB are just clamping down hard after Jef's antics last season or there's something else going on. Usually there has been a leak by now.
