Agree. Why would Brooks (or Chris for that matter) not like what happens at the end of the season if they are with Des (either engaged or not). Fleiss used the word guys which implies more than one.

He also said that he doesn`t know if Des liked what happened. Now that is weird considering she is in the drivers seat more or less.

I did go back and look at some notes I have and reviewed posts. I just don't know. I think there is a lot of time from April 23 when we believe the F4-F3 RC until possibly May 6-7-8 when we think the FRC took place. It is about two weeks.
I re-read some of RS' stuff and when he first posted, he did not know who was cut at F4-F3. Later he said it was Drew. Now we know Drew was in Antigua because of the fine sleuthing julychild and momoftrips were able to do with the picture.
Did they travel somewhere besides Antigua/Barbuda which took up extra time? We heard there was an earthquake in the area on April 30, but why wouldn't they say if this delayed filming???
I am just speculating here but what if they finally are hiding the ending from everyone. What if they filmed two or three "FRC" and only one is the true one. It would account for a weird ending, and Fleiss saying the guys weren't happy. Des may or may not be happy about it. Fleiss claims not to know.

Fleiss said it 'makes no sense' and 'came out of left field'...like he doesn't have total say what happens on this show? I doubt it.

I've thought of everything under the sun and I wonder if Nate did end up doing something.

this is what exactly comes to my mind...and it fit perfectly well in F1 debacle theory ive painted in my head!... i dont think there were fake and real FRC...id rather called it "the shifted F1". aka Des changed her mind...the first one actually `Staged` for all sleuthers to see..while the second one was the real/ultimate/actual one that was hidden. good analysis, pavalygurl!

Murasaki, your idea about the "shifted F1" could account for the seeming discrepancy over FRC dates. Chris H flew down on April 28. We have some tweets from him and someone he ran into on the plane/at the airport to confirm this. So it is independent of RS. I read a few speculations that the FRC was to be on May 1. Makes sense time-wise. So let's speculate they did have a "FRC" on that day. Let's say the other guy/guys have not as yet "left the island" due to flight schedules/sequestration --I hate that word--or whatever. Des has a change of heart and voila, the shifted F1. Maybe she and the initial F1 spend a few days sorting out their emotions, then finally part ways, enter F1 2.0 and we have a second FRC. I can see it fitting into what Fleiss talked about. And it fits the timeline a bit better than my scenario.

Wouldn't it be something if we figured this out!!!

I read an article about that April 30th earthquake and it was so nothing, that the vast majority didn't even feel it.

I have never believed they have total control of what happens on this show, or that everything is scripted. I met Jef Holm. Hung out at People Water's CEO's house and listened to him talk. Me, sitting on this long wrap-around couch with a bunch of other people while he sits on the coffee table telling us his story and answering questions. He said it's not scripted. That question was asked.

Anyway . . .

The things we know: he doesn't know if Des and the guys are happy about it, but he was entertained and we will be happy. Any lame "let's just date and be friends stuff" would not make us happy. Switching guys last minute. Well, how would we and the "guys" know she did that?

Drama would, for sure, entertain us and make them all miserable. Bad feelings. Fights. Controversy. Someone coming out of left field. Something revealed. Nate causes problems, or an ex-girlfriend.

It comes out of left field, makes no sense, shocks. And remember, he said guys, not guy. So both guys are involved, or maybe even more than two guys. And none of them might be happy about it to this day.

What wouldn't make any sense? I believe that's the key phrase.

I didn't say that the guys and Des are scripted, but I sure don't buy that the producers don't create some of it.
