as i have said before, i don't think it will be too much longer before we find out that ernesto is in a committed relationship with eva. don't know how long term, but my guess is that it is very serious on both of their parts.

I am friends with Facebook friends with Sara Lavagnino. She posted a photo of Tim meeting her family and her father (Bob Lavagnino) posted this comment on the picture:

I guess I am a skeptic. A committed relationship, my behind (this is not directed at you, klisack or wait-a-minute). Ernesto and Eva will fizzle out like all of Eva's other relationships. This relationship is just foul, that is why Tracy the MM denied any knowledge of it when she made an appearance on afterbuzz tv. Ernesto is attracted to the Hollywood glitz and glamor. If Shandi was a big star he would have stayed with her too. Eva in her capacity as EP saw the steamy scenes of Shandi and Ernesto and succumbed to lust (pardon me, my mean streak is on display).

On a serious note I am still not convinced that Ernesto is ready for a long term committed relationship. Ok I need to behave myself and stop here.

You may be right, but she probably bought that ring for Ernesto to present to her (mean, I apologize. This is why I don't go to Ernesto's thread, he brings out the worst in me). My guess is that if she makes the mistake and marries him, he will end up playing her big time. A pre-nup will be critical.

As for Ben and Angela, I respectfully disagree. I am sure she is nice, smart and funny, but I don't think she is for Ben. Ben says he wants a woman who will run his household. Well that is not the 25 yr old career minded Angela (and there is nothing wrong with her being career minded). Besides that purity pledge of Angela's, in my view is a deal breaker. I don't think Ben believes in it. Both Ben and Angela will be better off closing that door for good (JMHO). Granted we did not see the hot tub scene, but we saw some kissing scenes and they were all found wanting, the connection just wasn't there. Compare any of those scenes with what we saw between Ben and Kari. That finale scene where Angela expressed her love/feelings for Ben was colder than the bleak mid winter in Iceland.

 

I think Ben still has a thing for Kari. I may be wrong, but sometimes I think deep down Kari likes Ben too. (Okay, you disagree with me on that, I know).

 

I was also in the minority, about Tim and Sara. Sara is a great girl and a lot of people thought Tim should have picked Sara, but  I realized very early on that he just wasn't attracted to her. End of story.

Why is it that the girls were asked to make changes, but it seemed the guys didn't need to work on anything? We constantly heard rubbish such as "you are not nurturing",  "you have a wall", "open yourself up and let him in", I don' trust you" and" you are so lucky you are cute" . WTF!! We had divorced Tim, playboy Ernesto and workaholic Ben. There was a reason why each of them was single and on TV.



I would have liked to hear what mistakes Tim would not repeat in his next relationship.

As for Ben, I believed Kari when she said he was an absentee boyfriend. Angela attested to that in an interview (she said he was focused on his career and very busy). What significant changes is Ben willing to make? I think none. From his twitter conversations, he seems to enjoy hanging out with his boys a lot and traveling extensively. Any girl who wants to marry him should be prepared to be a housewife whose husband is gone a lot.

IF I COULD, I would drop Ben and Kari off on the Cote d'Azur (Nice Cote d'Azur Airport). NO TV CAMERAS, Hussey, computers or mobile phones. I would provide them with great accommodation in all the towns (from Nice to St. Tropez), a very comfortable car, enough money for great wining/dining, shopping, entertainment and an old fashion camera. They are free to roam, (Nice to St. Tropez) for 2 weeks. Let them talk it out honestly. Decisions made will be FINAL. What do you think? Am I crazy? You know them, I don't.

We talked our stubborn friends (think comedy of errors) into doing this. We don't know what was discussed between them, (we swore not to ask for details and we didn't), but they invited us to dinner and shared great memorable photos. That was their way of saying thank you, I guess.
