Agree on both points. The show last night was boring and Des just doesn't cut it as a lead. She's nice enough but doesn't have that "it" factor that makes people want to watch. And this batch of guys isn't great either which isn't helping things.

I really wanna watch this episode especially the date with brooks! I hope it gets put on YouTube soon.

The seasons are getting more and boring IMO simply because it's pretty much the same season, repeat drama, repeat dates, etc. I can't see it really ever increasing in viewership, people are tired of the same old same old.

I did love Brooks and Des together, I tuned out after that.

So here's a question: was Sean that much more interesting or 'it' than Des? Nice guy but not very exciting. But that one took off.

I think Sean just appealed to the general audience as the "All-American guy" so he was popular in that regard. Also, with a few exceptions, he had a fantastic group of girls.

Plus Bachelor Pad. People get tried of being force feed the same old thing.

Well, I didn't watch Bach Pad, Emily's or Sean's season. I'm just going to enjoy a lead I like for once!

There's always been two seasons a year. The show is definitely on the back half of it's life no doubt. But after ratings increasing last season, to have it be at an all-time low this season probably says more about the lead and contestants than anything else IMO.

Talking to the many people I know who watch the show, they didn't want Des as the lead because they find her boring and are sick of hearing about her sob story of growing up without much. Add to that a group of guys they don't like and even more sob stories, and it leads to less people watching.

Certainly the men know that production has control over who talks to Des and when. Why get upset with Ben when they know damn well he was asked to interrupt? Or do they know? Is production that sneaky as to keep this agenda from them?

You must didn't see DeAnna season. Monday night to me was a repeat of her season. I suspect that the producers put the guys up to conpaining about Ben also.
