Daphne
Shandi explained that remark in the AfterBuzz interview - it was editing that made it look like she was calling Allie a greased pig, when instead she was talking about Allie's energy in her personal confession and she explained it with her own experience years ago when she tried to catch a greased pig at the fair.
As for the old tramp - I would just mind your language, but if that's what you feel, I have nothing to add.

daphneyle wrote:Hello everyone! I'm new to the board, but just wanted to share a few thoughts/opinions.
First off, LOVED Ernesto climbing his way to Shandi, but I'm bummed to hear apparently they aren't together anymore. Everyone online seems excited that he could possibly be dating Eva... I find it disgusting. If you're going to produce your own show, atleast have enough decency to keep your horny paws off of the contestants! Just because she is a celebrity, she thinks she can do anything. Well way to ruin your chances of ever producing a decent show or having respect for yourself. Ugh.
Sorry, I just had to throw that out there. I know that Ben chooses Angela in the end. I won't reveal how, but I know. I really like her, but her perfect life kind of makes me want to barf, and I wonder if at 24 she is really ready to settle down and get married.
I am DYING to find out who Tim chooses! I reallllllly hope that it is Sara, but I have a feeling it's the 23 year old tramp Jenna. Ugh how can any of you like her? She was so willing to makeout with him before she barely knew him, and I see absolutely no connection between them beyond physical. With Sara, I see so much more.. seriously I think I may have a mental breakdown if she is not the one he chooses, especially after seeing/hearing how happy her family was, referring to Tim as the man that brought their daughter back, and Sara saying she thought she could never love again. How can it not make you swoon and hope for the stars? Ugh Jenna is just... so normal. So like any other 23 year old girl you'd find walking the streets. She sees someone in a band with money and OF COURSE she is ready to get married so young! Why not! Barf.
Okay, I'm done now. This is too late but I also wanted to mention that when Shandi referred to Mandy as a greased pig, we totally saw the shady side of her that Alba was referring to. I don't care how much I disliked someone, comparing them with a farm animal is just, LOW. Way to think you are better than everyone else... and also, I wasn't a fan of her home date, I definitely liked the other 2 girl's much better. All Shandi did was show Ernesto all of her plaques, trophies, the bar that 'supported' her NINE YEARS AGO... geez GET OVER YOURSELF! Move on, we get it! You were Miss USA the year I graduated high school, now you host Bingo on Game Show Network, NOBODY CARES. Oh, and nice floral wallpaper by the way.
kissing someone on the first date doesn't make you a tramp...you were not in the moment nor can you feel there connection...its just a kiss not sex...sex on a first date would make you a tramp. Jenna is way more mature then a lot of 23 year olds...many of the other contestants and even match makers would agree. you really shouldn't call any of these people names ..you don't know the real person only the edited version.

Re: Episode 8 - 5/28 - Ready For Love - Discussion - Spoilers
I'd like to share my perspective on how that pool scene appeared to me.
First, going into the water was Tim's idea, not Jenna's. Once they were in the water I was actually struck by how shy Jenna appeared to be. So often on the Bachelor/ette, water scenes result in the girl wrapping her legs around the guy. This was not Jenna's response at all. She clearly put both her legs to the side like she was sitting on Tim's lap. There was no tongue exchange in the kisses shown to us. When Tim and Jenna broke their kiss, Jenna dipped her head in kind of a shy way, waggled her eyebrows and then dipped her head into Tim's shoulder. In some ways, I think the whole thing might have caught her off guard. I thought it was a very cute first kiss...not a heavy makeout...certainly not slutty at all to me.
This was not Jenna's first alone time with Tim. According to Sarah Moore, Jenna had time in episode 1, but we didn't see it. We have no idea how long Tim and Jenna were talking before they went into the pool. So just to be clear, kissing Tim was not the first thing on either of their agendas with one another. I think it came out of an organic moment between them. Isn't that the best way to have your first kiss? That would be my preference.
Jenna doesn't need me to defend her, but I felt like she deserved to receive the benefit of the doubt on this, so I wanted to explain my perspective. Obviously, everything I said is my opinion of how I saw and experienced that date. I don't want to belabor this point...so we can move on.

If this show were The Bachelor, Hailey would be the next Bachelorette. Most of the talk on this forum is about Hailey and how much everyone likes her and thinks she should have been Tim's pick, except for the fact that she wasn't edited as such.
OK. Tim said Jenna is such a "stunner." So we all get it, he is really attracted to THAT . . . her . . . Jenna. Her physicality just floats his boat. And it's like watching a train wreck . . . it could be a disaster, yet you can't look away. Jenna is an EASY pick for him... she doesn't have a burgeoning music career or art studio/teaching career halfway across the country. She is just out of college, lives locally, and she can follow Tim around and be his personal groupie. He doesn't have to "take her away" from any of that.
As far as Hailey goes, who hasn't been a Hailey? The kind of person who is there making it OK for a guy, allowing him a soft place to fall while he holds his breath waiting for another relationship to click. And it seems like you should be with that guy cause you treat him so well, you have a lot in common, your interactions are easy. But that person never gets the guy in the end... people always want what they can't (or think they can't) get. Jenna held back her feelings for long enough, then had the gift of timing in revealing them.
Good luck, Tim. Looks fade (yours will too)....
By now, Hailey and the other person rejected (consensus is Sara, unfortunately) have most certainly moved on and Tim says he is happy, and I hope he is. I enjoyed watching his story. Just disappointed.
I didn't want to like Ben in the beginning because he was just 'too perfect' and I was cautious, expecting him to be arrogant. But I can see a certain vulnerability in him. Don't like Allie for him, my God, can you see the insecurity that will geyser out the minute she has a PMS moment? TOO MUCH DRAMA!! Glad Tarryn is gone, she was soul-less. Wished he could have made it work with Renae, really liked her.... but look at Kari. She was so full of herself. Ben goes for that energy. Renae was the "Hailey" of Ben's group of girls.
Looking forward to the final episode, by then I will have time to get over Tim letting go of Hailey.

Honestly, my take-away from the pool was Jenna holding up her arms and asking Tim if he could see through her shirt. She gave him ample time to check. He did. Yup. He could. Thank goodness he had the wherewithal to look back up to her face!
The kiss was tame compared to that. Yikes!

Re: Episode 8 - 5/28 - Ready For Love - Discussion - Spoilers
I am reading some of the comments and I am really surprised at some of the things being said. Mostly that Sara is controlling and too much for Tim. Sara has been the epitomy of class and has not put one bit of pressure on Tim so that makes no sense to me.
As far as Tim goes I have said it before. If he brings Sara to the end only to let her go I will have lost respect for him. After the things he said to her as well as her dad it woluld be heartbreaking for all of them.
But what do I think will happen? I think Tim is a rocker who would love a pretty hot thing with him to show off. I think Jenna is not the best choice for him but I respect that she is taking her time before screaming she loves him. At this point of the show I don't think she is deeply in love with him. But obviously if they are together still she is certainly in love with him now.
As far as calling her a tramp that is ridiculous. She kissed him. They have chemistry off the charts. If that is all it is it will run its course. But we don't know that. I love Sara but I will not say terrible (and untrue) things about Jenna. I loved Hailey but could see he wasn't into her like he was the other 2. She is not right for him. She deserves a different type of man. She deserves better. I really like Tim on the show but he is still a guy, a rocker guy. Hailey deserves to be adored.
I cant wait till Tuesday. More so I cant wait to see if Sara is ok afterwards if she is not the one. I have tweeted with her quite a bit and she is a doll. As is Hailey on twitter.
So I agree with Love_Me. This is a silly show and it is not our lives. If it has become someones life you need to take a good old jog around the block. We will all be talking on Wednesday when we don't have to guess anymore. Then onto Des and her group of characters over there.

I'm seeing that bolded part on twitter too. I have a thought about that. Remember when Sara was talking to Tim's parents? She talked about how her faith had gotten her through losing Timmy and how if he she found something so precious she would never let him go... and then Tim turned to his mom and said.. how's that for an answer mom? I don't think he just brought her along for the ride only to hurt her in the end. I think he was amazed by her and trying to get there knowing she checked every box and his family loved her. She was likely what he described as his type to the MMs. The fact that he doesn't pick her is not a poor reflection on him to me. I think he had all the chemistry with Jenna from day one, but like his sister said, never thought he would date someone so young. He had to reconcile all that in his mind over those weeks. Maybe he will let her go while in Austin on the next episode and not in the garden, but I don't think it was a done deal for weeks prior because of Jenna's age. JMHO

Hailey is a wonderful girl - fun, bright, kind... not to mention I thought she was eye-popping gorgeous which no one mentioned on the show. But she's not for Tim- and he is not for her, so that was that. I see her with a really nice lovely guy one day.
Sara - I really do think is slightly controlling. Just to explain myself for those who really adore her, every time he would start to say a positive thing about her, she would reinforce it so much - like "yes, oh my gosh yes! We're perfect" and almost try to finish his sentence for him. I guess I just don't like when someone is trying to tell the other person how perfect and transcendent they are together. It feels controlling, needy... you know? It's the 'you fit right in with me and my family because I really really really want you to' syndrome. I felt Allie did that to Ben, when she was crying (fakely I think) and in his arms declaring how much she loves him and how perfect she is for him and he is for her. It was too much. And it's not sexy.
Tarryn - bottom line is Ben didn't pick her - she didn't open up to him enough and what's to defend? Her rudeness? That's on her - she was rude despite it not being about that. If Matt had told me what he told her, I would asked him to explain why he thinks that and then thanked him for his advice. He wasn't there to attack her is the point.

I think Sara truly felt that way and wasn't trying to convince Tim of it. I think she really felt this was it for her and thought he was feeling it too. I am sure I will be a big bag of tears on Tuesday if she is upset. I don't know I really thought they were meant for each other. But I am not them.
