hmmm sad and tasteless... yep that's reality TV. Some of the stuff that I know has gone down with the Bach franchise is downright gross, you wonder why people still watch or even participate. I don't really see RFL as any different. Tim probably figured that he would get great exposure for his band (which he did) and if he was lucky find a great girl for himself. Seems like he found what he was looking for.

What's sick is that Tim has a producer who is telling him to keep Sara because.... the same producer is telling to keep Jenna because... Jenna has a producer telling her that Tim likes her the most and that she should... Sara has a producer telling her that Tim likes her the most and she should... and they all have producers telling them that if they do (insert random act that makes for good TV) that the lead will like them more or they will be rewarded more time with the lead for doing that act. Also, considering Sarah M told us a season 2 was in the works while the show was filming all the girls had producers telling them that if they make this far or do this stuff they will be the next lead. Happens on the Bach all of the time.

Their feelings and emotions are real, but they're manipulated into feeling that way or having the same emotion but x100. The goal is for all of the women to think that Tim is the greatest man that ever walked the planet. This is why they don't allow them phones, internet, TV, books, etc. These women are left with alcohol and their emotions which they end up bouncing off of each other which usually creates more friction. These women are expected to be all Tim all the time. This is why I always thought Jenna and Sarah were smart for realizing that the real love doesn't come into affect until they are all out this Stockholm syndrome type situation.

They've got to come up with some sort of conflict that can be resolved at the end. The Bachelor producers do this all the time.

I definitely think Jenna's relationship with Tim deepened the last episode when she was able to face her vulnerability and share her feelings with him (with two women both of whom had feelings for him witnessing it no less). It was obvious to me how happy Tim was to hear those words from Jenna.

Darrica is an account that was used by Hailey, her mom and her cousin. Hailey created her own "ManHands" account, but then accidentally posted under the Darrica account, making people here very confused. She later cleared things up :) It's all in the "hey guys, it's Hailey" thread if you want to go read for yourself!

Thank you for the insight Noobsleuth. I've never seen an entire season of a dating series before RFL...and had no idea of the level of manipulation. You seem to know a great deal about this...and I'm curious what your thoughts are...

Why do people do these shows? I mean, if you sign on, you must have some initial understanding right? Done your homework...And once they discover the level of manipulation, why don't they leave?

And the old "I'm her cousin" modus operandi is just lame...

Conjecture on this sort of thread is fun, but the whole Darrica thing is twisted. Yes, that's IMO.

I'm sooo not up on technology and would like to throw a question out regarding Jenna's posting of the jewelry pic from Tim's house. I find it very surprising that this seemingly old picture wasn't discovered until recently. Could the "banjo player" have manipulated it to either appear (1) to be taken at a time different then it actually was or (2) to have been taken at a location where it really wasn't? I don't have a vested interest in who the lucky girl is, I'm just playing devil's advocate and am genuinely curious.

ah...pistachio, not sure if I'm understanding your post. My apologies if I'm getting it wrong. But Hailey was the one that posted that information...the cousin/mom/her explanation. Nobody here dreamed it up. Go check the thread.
