First time poster!
I really think that Sean and Cat are a lovely couple, and hope they go the distance. But if they fizzled, be it in two months or a couple years, it wouldn't surprise me, for a couple reasons, some of which were mentioned before:
-not moving on from HW and the Bachelor bubble in the foreseeable future. Could be because they are secretly planning their wedding, could be because they are looking at other opportunities. I think if they stay in HW, they may not last
-what exactly were Cat's spiritual beliefs before meeting Sean? Did they align with his, or has she changed them, since they go together? Has she had to change some of her fundamental belief structure?
-Is she turning into a Stepford wife? or is she just more subdued in public, and lets Sean, who has more experience in interviews, take over?
-Dallas is very different from Seattle, in many fundamental ways. Is she flexible to deal with the differences?
-Something else we don't know--is the Catherine of now the same as before? Or do her family and friends think she has changed? This is the type of thing that usually comes out when a couple doesn't work out-"oh, she completely changed everything about herself, but then realized it wasn't her".

There are so many unknowns about her, probably because the show simply did not show her much. She still seems sweet and happy, so let's hope that lasts.

This whole wedding thing in LA is just bizarre---as if the only way they could get married is in LA.
A wedding in LA, unless donated by vendors to ABC/Next/whomever's paying, is still more expensive than in Seattle or Dallas by quite a bit I'd venture. I know this is the case in the 12 mile distance from Manhattan to NNJ.
And if they are paying for their own wedding eventually---wouldn't they want to be socking some $ away in the meantime? What about work ethic?
And wait--now they are living together??
My mind is in a world wind over this couple. :nervous

Regarding the bolded, I have had the same thought regarding Catherine and her eventually moving to Dallas. I wonder if one of the reasons they have chosen to stay in CA is because they both know she may not feel as comfortable living in Dallas.

I mentioned back in March that Sean and Cat's spiritual paths are not aligned. I think it remains so to this day. I know Catherine goes to church with Sean on Sundays in LA & they recently attended a worship band concert at the Hollywood Bowl. She described herself as a seeker which is a long ways to being a believer.

Sean often quotes scripture on social media while I yet have to see Cat post anything about faith, or Jesus or god. In the GMA interview, Sean spoke for both of them regarding their beliefs. It bothers me that she doesn't speak up about it.

True that. I'll amend my statement to say I haven't seen or heard her quote about Jesus, the bible, faith or god. She's mentioned being blessed a couple times but that's the closest she's ever got.

I'm glad (I think) that many of you are feeling the same concerns as I am. I really like Catherine and I think she was a gorgeous spitfire on the show. Unfortunately, I still have no specific examples of what Sean has given up for Catherine. Love is a two-way street. I want to see his side, but it's not in my viewfinder.

I don't think Catherine really cares that she's given more to the relationship. She found her "prince" and will give up a whole chunk of herself to keep him & make it work. I personally think the marriage will happen because she wants it SO badly.

What makes you think that? I am eagerly looking for factual specifics and not opinions. Perhaps that is why I find all of this so conflicting.

Melisma, relationships are indeed a two-way street but to think that the amount of sacrifice each one will offer the other will be of equal value at any given point in time is unrealistic. Do I think Catherine gave up a lot for Sean? Absolutely. Do I think Sean should do the same? Yes, but his turn will definitely come. Sean will have plenty of opportunity to return the favor, even more so as a husband if ever they get married(betting on it happening). I love and admire Catherine a lot and because she seems very happy( based on countless observations from those who've met them personally), I choose to be happy with and for HER and her life with Sean.

that's the crux of the matter melisma - nobody knows anything about them but form opinions based on what they gather from watching the show, media, and trying to read between the lines. Some think they're going to get married, me, I'm getting the same vibe that I got from Brad/Emily and Emily/Jef. Ben/Courtney...and we all know how those couples ended despite all the "evidence" that some said pointed to a true and lasting love!!
