Just to play devil's advocate a little bit, these are all Kari's version of events. You know the old saying about three sides to a story .... :Smiley:

I have actually heard some of these things from another source and she is genuinely upset. It can also be the other way around. Kari works for oracle which is huge and what he is saying and commenting on is definitely effecting her as well. But yeah who knows who is telling the truth however Ben is staying silent on the front. Not defending himself and all of a sudden in interviews he is defending her. Maybe to pacify her so she doesn't tell all. Who knows.

No very valid point. I really do not care about the Ben situation I guess I am using more of this for sleuthing. I really do not think any of them are on the up and up to tell ya the truth. They all know one another. Actually friend from before the reality shows. Ben and Sean Lowe are friends in a wedding together. They are both close friends with Courtney Kerr who has her own show now, Kari who dated Ben is with Tanner who was on Jillian's season of the bachelorette. Ben went to high school with Jake P from the bachelor. Ben was asked to be the bachelor in 2008 or something like that and turned it down. And it goes on and on. They all live in Dallas. Little suspicious. Very incestuous if you ask me. It could all be a big game. Who knows. I don't think it would hurt Ben in business at all. IMO I think that is why he went on this show. He has been tweeting about his web site and business advice all over twitter. I think they all use this to get ahead.

I hear you. Is it what Ben is saying that is hurting her at Oracle or how she was perceived by the Ben's girl on national TV that is hurting her? What I heard Ben say is that there is a clique with the girls, and that news travel. His girl found out Kari was at his B'day and was pissed. Maybe his girl told him that is how she found out? This seems so much she said, he said and that is a shame. They are all professionals but are acting like high school girls/boys.

Good point, moopie. When Ben first heard Kari's voice on the other side of the wall, he seemed genuinely surprised. Could he be that good of an actor?

I wonder if the real situation is that the producers, in order to get Kari on the show, told her Ben was asking for her to be there. This mess sounds more like producer manipulation than either Ben or Kari outright lying. It could be Kari genuinely believes Ben asked for her to be on, and it could be that Ben knows he didn't. In effect, both are telling their own truth.

Amen! You hit the nail on the head. Who knows if they are all doing it to fool us. My head is spinning right now. For adults in their 30s to be acting like this is ridiculous! So immature. No matter how you look at it they all look immature. I think Tim and his girls may be the only ones acting like rational adults.

I think Kari feels like Ben threw her to the lions and now her character is being attacked. I think what happened at the party is someone there who knew one of Ben's girls texted that Kari was there got back to his girl and she lost her mind. She may have told Ben it was Kari because she was intimidated by Kari hanging out there with him. Who knows. Ben had a champagne toast with Afterbuzz girls on getting rid of Kari (Tacky in my opinion). He defended her all show and then again after the toast. I think he is playing both sides of the fence. Plus he knew his girl was watching the interview so if he didn't do the toast maybe he though she would loose it or something. Either way he needs to step up and just say what he thinks and feels and stop sending mixed messages.

Well from what I was told Ben called her personally and it took some convincing for her to actually do it. Called her more than once. She thought she was in for a fairytale ending. Like they were going to do this for show but it was her he wanted to be with. I don't doubt for a minute he could act surprised. I think they are all good at acting.

IMO someone is lying. Either Ben or Kari. Not sure who at this point. But am leaning towards Ben lying on this issue since she slipped up and told one of the girls she was asked to be here when they were coming at her with why she was on the show.

I have tons more interest in the whole Ernesto/Eva/Shandi/Alba and Ben/Kari/Foot-Fetish-Tanner after-show situations on twitter than I do actually watching any of them on RFL. Tim's story actually seems to have some romance I can get behind. As for the rest of them, bring on the gossip!! Hugesmile

I think Ernesto story had so much potential if he did not muck it up with Eva. Think about, he is falling in love with Shandi and Alba. Shandi from Missouri, does not speak spanish, and beauty beauty queen. Alba the divorcee which is such a no-no for his culture. What will his family think? Good stuff.

Ben - you have the sexy mature Tarryn and the virgin Angela. Who will capture his heart. Oh well.

I cant believe that he asked her to do the show and sold it to her as a fairytale - their fairytale I guess. He's a pretty good actor. I thought he was genuinely surprised. I had no idea they had even been in contact. I also cant believe she is spilling that. I guess she doesnt think the production company cares enough at this point to sue her.
What is also important is that she verified what beetims posted about the shocking ending.
