We need to keep London in our thoughts, again. I don't ever want to be immune to these atrocities that continue to happen around the world.

I will pray as I do every night for strength for all those who have lost loved ones and may they find comfort in the memories during the short time they had with them.

I see the double rainbow pictured above and am taken away by it's beauty and then hear the daily news and am stunned time after time by the atrocities.

Am I the only one whose gotten to the point, I'm slightly nervous to turn on the news each morning and hear what awful, hateful thing had happened somewhere in the world?  

My prayer lists just keep growing.  

Though this morning's event pales in comparison to many of late, I'm thankful the incident on the baseball field was as minor as it was.  Could've so much worse.

ETA: ok I see it now. It was breaking news when I was getting ready for work but they didn't mention a baseball field.

For about 3 months last November, I let myself be totally out of the loop for anything. It was great. Very stress free.

I'm sure it was Kasha.  I tend to do that when I go on vacay.  But I'm thinking it might have to become more of a normal life day to day thing.

I used to watch the 6 oclock news every night. I stopped doing that. Since hockey is over with, I have the HGTV station permanently on. Twitter or google news will let me know what's going on, and if I want to know more info, I'll click the link, otherwise I don't bother. I used to like cop shows and detective real life crime. Hard to watch them. Menendez brothers special on Sunday night. I was glued to that case. Not sure if I can watch that now.

Sometimes the headlines are enough info.
