Good for you for doing it!

One of my HS friends has changed the challenge to giving to your favorite charity. Since we are having a wounded warrior lunch on monday with dishes from 5 continents. Hubby and I are donating five dishes and providing all the taster cups, so have it covered. I will give ALS some money come new payday on September 1st.

It's bad enough there are earthquakes, then they happen in the middle of the night. I can't imagine. I hope everyone is safe.

Gov. Jerry Brown declared the state of emergency on Sunday morning just hours after the magnitude 6.0 earthquake struck around 3:20 a.m. local time, jolting residents of the San Francisco Bay Area from their beds.

It was quite a shaker! We are 100 miles south but it woke us up and se the house creaking! Nothing like 1989 but strong enough to know it was at least 6.0.
