WTF has been going on here I'm so far behind and there are new buttons, new posters, exclimation points... Anything increadibly new and interesting besides the fact that Sean is a horrible dancer and Cat is still as pretty as ever?

Wow, I missed everything yesterday. I would like part of that banana split! Charriot and Notguilty, you are my heroes of the week.

Sean's lack of "engagement" in body language and unconscious actions when with Cat give me the willies.

I share in the frustration many people are experiencing and my goal has always been to help find a solution where both groups can peacefully co-exist.

First if all, let's remember that Love and San are members here, not just moderators. It must be hurtful to them to read post after post of complaints on what they are doing wrong. They have bent over backwards to try to make everyone happy and have created threads to allow both groups to freely post.

If you don't feel there are enough threads in the "Discussion" area, all you have to do is ask them to create what you feel is lacking.

Can there not be a place on this board that super fans can post and another where people can snark or be open to dissenting opinions as long as the rules are followed?

Lets try to find a solution that is agreeable to all!

I don't think San and Love are doing anything wrong at all.....they work so hard at this even though I am sure their days are filled with important real-life things. It seems to me that the complaints have to do with how posters are not obeying the rules, which results in making other posters uncomfortable, not that the amount and kind of threads is lacking. But maybe I am wrong. Reading the posts from yesterday, it seemed to me that there was an outpouring of comraderie among folks who have been hesitating to post their opinions. Everyone spoke about how grateful they are that Love and San are such good moderators. It looks like Love and San have made some decisions which should help matters.

Why is this man sounding like Jimmy Swaggart right after he admitted of the sex scandals? Is there a scandal that I'm not aware of? Or am I being too hopeful?

And because of hydroxycut and Jesus he'll be made new again so he can be forgiven and thus continue on with being greedy and prideful.

I really didn't get what he was trying to say but whatever dude. We all know that he knows and his midget agent knows that fame and money are fleeting, why else would he be grabbing all the money making gigs he could get his hands on short of sending his woman to one of his gigs because Samba is apparently kicking his ass. and then he says this

This is probably the only thing that he said in his whole time being submerged in the limelight that makes sense everr. I don't know how its going to register with his "religious fanbase" but hell he should've clarified this way before.

So if he is not religious where is he getting the truth from? Cause some people will say they are not religious but they are getting the truth from invisible aliens and smoking weed. This man is confusing. Now I know how Ashlee felt on women tell all.

Happy to see that many still want this site to be a forum and not a fan site

It's not that I don't want fans to feel welcome here either, that's not the case... cuz that's part and parcel of watching the show. Some seasons you'll like a lead and their F1, some seasons you won't. Some seasons you might hate the lead, but like a few contestants - it's just the way it is. I don't mind the gushing that goes with it... but for those that aren't feeling it.... don't take it personal if they poke fun or snark on one of your favorites. I've been on both sides of that fence. I've dished out the snark... and I've defended a contestant or lead that was snarked on. I just think that if you want to be part of a public forum... you have to ignore what you don't like... it's just as simple as that. Defend away, or state your opinion as to why you don't agree..... nothing wrong with that... just don't chastise a poster for having a differing opinion.

This is one amazing site, run by 2 great ladies, and I want to see it continue to be what it was at it's inception and not become a fansite, as that' will signal it's demise :Frown:

I'm late to this conversation, but this is a GREAT post. This past season has been "meh" for me, but I have had seasons where I can't stand the lead (Emily, Deanna) and seasons where I am definitely a FAN of the couple (Jash). Either way, I enjoy reading all the snark and speculation. If I'm a fan, I'll seek out that thread (Arie), but otherwise I'll leave it alone and let everyone enjoy their gush. Every season is different...and the "teams" are constantly changing. Thanks to Love and San for this place on the Internet. I don't post much, but I read everyday!

So many paradigms, so many arguments. Sigh. But at least we have the freedom to post. We can agree to disagree. Respect.

Just wanted to jump in here because I think there's been a disconnect in what Sean meant and how most people would interpret the tweet--and it's because the definition of "religion" that he used is different than the traditional definition that most people know. Sean didn't mean that he's not Christian/God-loving/etc. Saying that you don't like "religion" is a very common phrase among Christians (at least the Christians I know). We seek a personal relationship with God--that's the most important aspect. We don't seek to practice an organized religion where people go through the motions of going to church on Sundays, judge/condemn others for their shortcomings or put on a religious coat to appear morally superior to others. And unfortunately a lot of people and churches now do all of the above; by becoming so preoccupied with the act of appearing religious, they have lost the way to Jesus and have become like the Pharisees in the Bible (loving their own religious teachings/laws above God himself and contradicting what God is actually saying). We don't seek religion; we seek God. That's why Sean said "religion" keeps people away from the truth, which is Jesus' love. Sorry for the long-winded answer! Hopefully my rambling made some sense and was able to clear up some confusion? :)

I respect the fact that the moderators would rather not have any discussion on "religion" on this site, but I couldn't resist contributing to this convo. Forgive me please. I have stated in past posts that I also do not like to use the word "religious" in reference to my Christianity. We are believers in Christ and know we are saved by His Grace alone. I do not think Sean has done a double-speak here, he was merely sharing his personal testimony. I know some of his "religious platform fans" might be offended by this, but I and I'm sure, a lot of others, understand what he was trying to say.Thank you Ann3 for the short and simple explanation. So, Shay still isn't backing her brother and Cat. Sure would love to know what's bugging her.... and I have a feeling that whatever it is, is the answer to the real relationship between Sean and Cat. I don't think it's as straight up as Ash and JP's was... I think it's a little more of an Emily/Jef kinda thing.
