Desiree Hartsock - Bachelorette 9 - Discussion

Des calls Colorado "home".... if any place is -she moved around so much.  She lives in LA now (and did before the Bachelor), but used to live in the OC.  I think she'd be open to any of the above... and possibly almost anywhere.  I do think that Des is very resilient.

No doubt Des is very resilient, she learned to be at such an early age.

Well I guess that would depend on Jobs. Would Brooks be able to find a job in what he is doing now? I think it would be easier for Des to find a job in a bridal salon in SLC. But we will see on what these two decide to do. But I do see Des moving to be with Brooks.

while des can be a bridal stylist in a bridal shop anywhere she needs to live where fashion design houses are in order to design which is what she wants to do and studied for. i don't know where she works currently as the bridal shop she used to work at seems to have gone out of business. there was mention of her doing design work for a plus size company maybe she currently works there? brooks would have no problem getting a marketing job anywhere. those are all over.

thanks. i thought i'd heard that she was living in LA. have you heard anything about where she currently works?

edit to add: maybe she works at that bridal salon they featured in the show. they may not want the world to know so they don't get mobbed by bach'ette fans.

I think Des is currently between jobs.

I think Brooks is the same.

One of the reasons could be she loves the beach. I wouldn't be surprised if that is what she did do - bigger apartment for her and Brooks. Not a bad way to spend her Bachelorette money if you ask me.

While all this may be, she possibly moved to a much more secure apartment. The lead (whoever it is) from this show is essentially hounded by the paps. I don't know where Des lived before, but I would think the new apartment has both a secure entrance and secure parking- even if her ride is a little on the beat up side.
