Maybe is it a recent accident and she has been very busy lately. I really hope she makes the move to SLC. It seems the track record that when the lady moved there was a wedding.

I really do hope they settle somewhere that isn't LA proper. It's a very difficult place to start and maintain a relationship. So many distractions and temptations and lacks anything wholesome.  (Unless you are in the South Bay area near the beaches, which is much more relationship and family oriented, IMO (I live here!)).

She can design anywhere and I am sure SLC has some very nice bridal shops. From what she says that she puts her relationships first I hope she sticks to that and moves to be with him. They can always go back to Cali and visit.

It seems to make a difference. I think it's because women are naturally unselfish. If they're selfish enough that they want the man to come their way it won't work. Basically, he needs to be her #1 consideration. As anti-feminist as that seems, it's true.

Ali got to drive around LA in a hot little mini convertible while her season was airing (which had to be returned around the time of the finale)- on the other hand the paps followed her everywhere (which she really liked- hence the red mini with a convertible!).  But TPTB wanted to promote the "I gave up everything" scenario with her.

Cinderella (er, Des) needs to drive around in her crummy Honda.  So when she's reunited with her prince, her life will have an upgrade.  (Maybe instead of a trip they'll give her a car at the last show).

In my mind, Brooks is most definitely an upgrade over Sean.

I think the car just reinforces how much Desiree is neither image conscious nor materialistic - quite rare for a reality tv person.

i can't imagine des moving to SLC but of course i could be wrong. i could see brooks moving to LA if he doesn't mind being away from his family. do we know where des currently lives? is she in newport beach? if so, that is in orange county which is quite different from LA. brooks would probably be comfortable in the OC. i'm a native angelino. the OC is scary, man.
