Interesting she was friends with Tierra early on hmmm . Seems she feels the need to control how everything should play out on her terms. no no

Very sad she's bitter four months later.

Am I reading the bolded correctly? That Ashley's own mother publicly tweeted something negative about her own daughter to her former suitor? Speechless. No wonder AshLee got married at 17 and still has issues to this day. With family like that, who needs enemies?

To your last point, if one is bitter, 4 mos is not a long time to be bitter when the final 2 of those 4 months has included a 2-hour weekly televised replay of what you are bitter about, along with 8mill+ viewers, tweeters, commenters, chiming in daily.

From his own words and from screen caps we see, I think he led her on, big time. That coupled with her world view and wanting a "knight" is the recipe which brought us to where we are. Not too hopeful right now about Sean and Catherine, or for AshLee unless she has/continues some therapy to help her overcome her childhood trauma. I see Catherine as "young" right now and just growing into the remarkable woman I think she will be. I think she will outgrow Sean. The question is how soon.

Anyone see Selma's thoughts on WTA? How a daughter of a pastor doesn't lie? I wish I had Twitter that says a daughter of a pastor does not get married at 17 and then get divorced...

I am the daughter of a pastor and I can tell you being the "daughter" of a god fearing "man" does not make you perfect. Just saying. That's just so silly.

'Bachelor' recap: 10 things you didn't see on 'Women Tell All'
By Amy Kaufman LA Times

Tonight's "Women Tell All" episode was excruciating for me to watch. And no, that's not just because I had to listen to the women rehash drama none of us care about or see them all gang up on Tierra for 45 minutes. It is because I had to witness it all twice.

That's right, friends, I took a bullet for "Bachelor" nation and attended the taping of the "Women Tell All" a couple of weeks ago. And no, I didn't actually get to sit in the audience. Along with a handful of other journalists, I sat on a sound stage for six hours watching the drama unfold on a television monitor while snacking on Craft Services. (They did make us some mean grilled cheeses.)

But some of the most juicy things I saw last month didn't air on ABC Monday evening. So, without further ado, I present to you -- 10 things you didn't see on "Women Tell All":

1. AshLee explained why she blindsided Sean on stage

Apparently, AshLee kept a journal throughout her entire stint on “The Bachelor” that she told me she wrote in nearly every day. A week before heading to the “Women Tell All” episode, she pulled out her diary and flipped through a couple of entries to prepare for seeing Sean.

“I had written some things that he said to me on the overnight just because I never wanted to forget that. And some of the things, I thought, ‘I need to know why he told me those things and four days later, wiped me out,’” she said. “He did say it. Clearly, I wouldn’t just make something up on national television. I think he just forgot.”.......

10. Chris is Team AshLee

When the confrontation between Sean and AshLee aired, all of the journalists backstage seemed to think Sean was lying about what he said in the fantasy suite. Apparently, so did our host, who said he found it plausible that Sean could have told AshLee he didn't have feelings for anyone but her. “The secret that she revealed from the fantasy suite more than likely probably happened in some form or fashion,” Chris told me. “I think we all agree that there’s a moment in intimate situations where you should have a grace period of things said.”

I saw a online clip about that. It wasn't tweeted but something her mother told him during HTD.

Being controlling, bitter and angry and seen someone who you fell in love with been happy with someone else might just make someone vindictive., I see you Ashlee. Sean dodge a bullet in your onesided view of life.

What is CH up to? I find his commentary about this season to be so odd - especially considering his supposed friendship with Sean. He practically plants doubt or tosses Sean and Catherine under the bus in every interview.

It's interesting that the journalists there thought Sean was lying. I would have thought that he'd have built up more good will with them given how much they had him on the PR circuit this season.

I think if you look at the whole article. AshLee said she wrote the conversations down with Sean during FD. I believe she produced her diary. So she may look like she had more credibility since she produced written notes. I'd say it is still not admissible in court.

From what PoohBear (posted earlier/another thread maybe?) who was in the studio audience is that AshLee actually came across worse than was shown last night. And in listening to one of AshLee's other interviews (Access? Eonline?) she said she had other things that Sean had said that she was going to bring up, but since he didn't own up to the first, she didn't bring up any others. I believe this is a woman who wanted to take back control that she had lost by being sent home. It's really a shame. And I think if Sean had thought about the negative aspects of needing so much control, AshLee probably wouldn't have lasted as long as she did.

Going back to her HTD, her dad admitted that he had allowed AshLee's marriage because he was afraid that after her 18th birthday she might have made some rash decisions and he would have had no say in that. She's used to getting what she wants.

AshLee seems to have played her cards this way (and I get it, she has issues which I know are very real- and this is clearly the worst venue to be in if you need to have control- and she thought in the experience she was learning to let go) for her whole life- She said in one of those interviews that her departure in silence was a normal way of handling things for her (because she was probably taught that it was better to say nothing in the moment than to say something you regret). But this was premeditated, for sure.

Still and all (and I'd like to give AshLee some benefit of the doubt) I can also see the producers giving her a call a few days before the taping to encourage her to pull out her journal (where she wrote her comments the day following the FD)and remember back to how she felt. Those 4 days between her FD and the rose ceremony were not spent in total isolation. She had a handler with her who was privy to what she was thinking about the FD.

As for CH- he's doing Sean no favors, for sure.... and perpetuating these thoughts (though those were from that night and I don't think he's giving fresh interviews on the subject- it's just the media and they all want to be sure they print it, too. But he's already promoting the next thing. And the writer from the LA times was probably caught in the moment.... but perhaps not totally paying attention either as she was taking notes/preparing for interviews after the taping. The were probably hoping to catch Sean saying something about AshLee after the taping- but considering there's nothing specific to that effect that we've seen, I think they were thwarted.

On the good side, for Catherine and Sean, I think we've seen pretty natural communication between to two of them- they both seem to be "words" people. So I am hopeful that they communicate well- Catherine would have know well before the airing about AshLee's questions/comments- both from Sean and her pal Lesley.

In addition, Catherine seems from my perspective to be one of the very few contestants who has gone on this show with an understanding of how it works; this was never clearer than her discussion with Sean about the overnight dates before he ever gave her the date card.

Any "student" of the show would know how this works and how the lead is expected to "lead every one on" to create drama - especially at the end. If Catherine is so dumb that she doesn't see this for what it is then she has Leslie to educate her.

The only thing admissible would be a tape/video recording. Just because she wrote something in her diary doesn't mean it's word for word. It could still be her perception of what he said.
