I can see AshLee, with all of her insecurities, quizzing Sean on the overnight dates about his feelings towards the other girls and putting him on the spot. The same way she put him on the spot last night.
Sean probably did answer the questions the way AshLee said, but what else could he do? We all know how this show operates and I'm sure AshLee knew it, too. It's not the first time the lead said things he/she shouldn't have said, and it won't be the last. It made her look desperate in my opinion.

Eactly! he was telling the other women basicly the same thing, in other words he was towing the company line just like CH does. Like I've been saying this is the 17th season of the bachelor they know how this show work. Do I believe Sean is in love with 3 women, heck know, in like maybe but not love, not possible.

I don't see that point for Ashlee to carry on about this. I wasn't much of a fan before this and she's completely turned me off by being so vindictive. I also don't think she was Sean's favorite in that last few weeks at all. His BL tells it all. I never thought she was a good match in any case because of being so rigid and serious. She should never have come on the show imo.

After this episode, I became a huge fan of AshLee's. It's likely that Sean said something that AshLee misinterpreted. But the reason I'm so proud of her is that she had the balls to stand up to him at the WTA. Hell, he's one of the most beloved Bachelors ever, and she probably knew a lot of people would turn on her for calling him out like that. Yet, she did it anyway. You go, girl!

Also, did any of you read the interview OK Magazine did with AshLee? Here's the excerpt that kind of disturbed me:

OK!: Who’s your celebrity crush?
AF: Well let me keep number one quiet... But Chris Harrison isn’t a bad looking guy.
OK!: And he’s single now...
AF: I’ve heard (laughs).

AshLee, I hope you're not being serious. For the love of God and all things holy, please don't go out with Chris. You're way too young for him. Cougar is a better look on you.

I agree with the comments in bold. I think Sean is pretty loose with his words and has told these women what they want to hear at different points during the season. He could easily have said something in such a way as to leave it open to interpretation and Ashlee would have heard it the way she wanted to hear it. I believe that she fell in love with her ideal man and not Sean. Even she admitted on the WTA that as she watched the show, Sean didn't seem to be the man she thought he was, also saying that she thought he acted like a "frat boy" around the other women. Seeing it play out seems to have made her realize that maybe he wasn't the guy she wanted or needed him to be.

Deception is part of this show. It's built into it. That's not an excuse for what any of the leads do, it's just the reality. I don't think Ashlee has moved on, because there was anger behind her words. Also, by confronting him publicly and saying what she believes he said, that was guaranteed to put him on the spot and embarrass him in front of the live audience and the millions watching. He may well not remember exactly what he said to her.

I do agree that I don't think AshLee fell in love with Sean. I think she fell in love with some white knight or something. I don't think Sean felt himself with her- so she never saw all his facets... and was disappointed when he fell off her pedestal. I don't really think a pedestal is where Sean wants to be for his whole life- so it's best that they are not together.

Everything has already been said on this topic and then some but just wanted to add that after watching this episode and reading all the commentary, I am still a fan of Sean and am Team Sean all the way on this one.

AshLee was my #1 pick for him for the first couple of episodes and then that changed swiftly to just waiting for her to go. I fast forwarded through many of her scenes and just cringed watching her last night. I think Sean started pulling away from as early as Montana and she was kept solely because she was paper perfect but that's it.

In my mind AshLee was the real villain of the WTA and turned into a bully. Talk about many shades of AshLee ...

Have to agree with the bolded. Tierra kind of faded into the background after AshLee.

There has been some debate about whether Sean said what AshLee claims she heard. I think she was totally unrealistic about this whole process and fantisized this perfect man with Sean in the starring role. Unfortunately, no one is perfect and clearly, Sean has no wish to be so....hence, bye bye bitter cakes. I think she did plan what she was going to say, how she was going to confront him and I do think she wanted to hurt him how he hurt her....and set about planning for maximum impact so to speak. While watching the show, I think she discovered that Sean was not the man she thought and just how happy he was without her...with those silly young girls. Last night, instead of being the lady she always thinks of herself and graciously dropping the matter after she made her point, she continued on the attack. Just how serious she is about getting her own back we will discover if she continues to give interviews rehashing the matter...or ends up on the Bachelor Pad.

Someone earlier had posted that Catherine seems to understand how the show works. I don't know how much of a fan of the show she was/is, but her BFF Lesley certainly is and watching her last night it looked as if she was just biting her tongue to stop herself from responding. I would love to hear her thoughts on this whole mess.

For very understandable reasons AshLee has been looking for love for as much of her life that she can remember but there seems to be a pattern - she found it with her adoptive parents but by the time she was 17 that wasn't enough and she got married - only to find that it wasn't there either and she got divorced. She is so desperate for love (and I don't mean that in a totally negative way) that she saw everything that happened and everything that was said to her as an indication that she'd found it with Sean and sometimes that kept her from seeing reality. I strongly suspect she was the very same way with her husband at 17 - convinced the he was the love of her life until he too turned out not to be. AshLee's confrontation of Sean on WTA was not at all about seeking closure - if it was she would have asked Sean why he didn't pick her (which she did) and listened to his answer (which he gave) and dropped it there (which she didn't). She attacked Sean on his integrity and that had nothing at all to do with closure and everything to do with inflicting the most damage she possibly could inflict. It was nothing but vindictive.

If not me it could have been. She's one of the few I've seen who has made it a point to learn how the show works and I think anything she didn't understand about it has been filled in by Leslie or Crista Osher, both of whom I think are "students" of the show.
