She wasn't making sense in my book especially after watching the show and still couldn't she wasn't the one. Leslie rolling her eyes convinced me too. I think her main goal for doing that to Sean was to bust him and that gal up but I hope it backfired on her and they are stronger.

Maybe true. IF you noticed the other girls may not have agreed with her. Only KCB was up clapping when AshLee returned to her seat.

Yep, same with her HTD. He looked like he was moving between bored out of his mind and sad that they weren't as compatible as he'd hoped, since she seemed perfect on paper.
And while he did say leading statements to all the F3, she should have kept it in perspective. I totally think she was hearing what she wanted to hear. Look how careful he was with his words after she described the ring she wanted. He didn't say he was glad to know what she wanted or anything like that. He said 'it's good that YOU know what YOU want". Big difference, yet she seemed to just sail right past it.

Right! even in the previews after the HTD, I could see she was going home that episode. Just as I can see in the finale previews that he has checked out concerning Lindsay.[/quote

I agree that it was obvious Sean knew what Ashlee's weakness is: control. She must always be in control. It's her way or her other way, no in between. Sean could see that and didn't want a lifetime of it. In the off-camera remarks from WTA, Ashlee was so angry that she couldn't make Sean agree with her that she told him, "I could beat you right now." Yikes!

Almost since the beginning, I had to shake my head during Ashlee's ITMs as she expressed her undying love for Sean. It was so unrealistic for this show, as though she had never watched it before. I don't remember anyone else on any season becoming so entrenched in the idea that they were definitely F1 like she did. She was never really listening with a discerning ear to what he said.

That is because to me, the relationship was never about Sean. It was all about HER. THAT is not love.

Ashlee said "I'm smart and I see it". If she had got away from the fantasy in her head for.......she said the LOOK Sean gave her when he said "I'm not into drama" scared her and she hoped it was a reassurance. She was in tears before RC and the last to get the rose. If she was so sure that Sean had told her it's just the two of them why was she stressed out at the next two RCs?

Lesley M......probably had the best line about her..>>Ashlee saw him on TV and was in love with him. Was Lindsay talking about Ashlee throwing everyone under the bus so she could get to Sean? Seems like some of these girls had a good read on Ashlee. Too much emotional baggage for a man looking for someone who'd bring laughter into his life.

While I can't imagine Sean saying the exact words that AshLee said, I can see him "over promising" in some way that she interpreted more seriously than he meant. Also, if she's been the frontrunner all season, by this point, why didn't he know her better and be more in tune or intuitive to how she would take his words and actions so he could choose them carefully - especially if he knew he was gonna dump her?

All season, he has been pretty guilty of either (1) being overly enthusiastic - and over promising or (2) fickle..i.e. caught up in the moment until something better comes along on the next date.

Sorry, I'm just not really impressed with his TB performance. I don't think his actions were intentionally harmful but came from a lack of experience and being too much of a "company man". Frankly, I had hoped to see him be more mature, measured and serious about finding someone to marry and wanted to believe in the ending. Instead I feel like I've been watching Sean's big adventure.

My very favorite part of the WTA last night was the very end and dedication to Magic! I was balling like a baby to my husband when he asked how the show went (he doesn't watch the show, but I always give him an update especially many nights when we're in bed and I'm watching everything in slow mo or reverse slow mo, he gets the lo-down.) Anyway, I thought that was very emotional and touching and I'm sure very touching to all those on the inside of the show.

My thoughts on last night ~

1) I don't think Sean was lying.
2) I think being married to Ashlee would like being married to your mother. Always correcting you. She also cant admit defeat or when she's wrong. Bad quality. But, she is beautiful on the other hand.
3) A little snippet of reality thrown in last night with the Sean & Ashlee conversation. I liked that! Hope they do more of that in the future as this show is so scripted and they ask they same stuff every season, never the less, I'm still addicted
4) Spent way too much time and energy on Tierra. Boring. I'm sure something else exciting happened in the house.
5) Bloopers were lame this year. Maybe they didn't have anything exciting going on in house this year.
6) Good group of girls this season, and Sean best Bachelor by far IMO.

He probably said pretty much what he needed to say to her in a vague enough way she (or the other 2 when he was alone with them) could interpret it to mean he was all about whomever he was with at the moment. He does say pretty much the same thing to and about each one of them. He's got to keep them going so he is the dumper and not the dumpee before the dumping happens.

Yes,even before hometowns I could tell that Sean was pulling away, that there was both a physical and emotional distance between the two of them. AshLee had a tendency to hear only what she wanted to hear. She also really had her blinders on throughout most of the season.

I just want to reflect on some that brought up that Sean didn't protest as much as he should have AshLee's accusations. The phrase thou dost protest too much comes to mind...so he is damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.

I don't think either Sean or AshLee is a liar. I think he said some standard things that she misinterpreted. She has been focused and totally unaware of anyone else...including Sean...this whole season. It is about her and what she wants. I hope she really finds it, because she would be a difficult person to live with otherwise.

My other though regarding Sean is that he was just not expecting this from AshLee. She has been the mature, sensible, LADY throughout and that she could be so far off the track, I think really opened his eyes...even more so than when he finally clued in about Tierra. I also think, he is now done...tired, exhausted and can't wait for the whole thing to be over and revealed so he can get on with his life. AshLee was like the last obsticle to get through before he begins the next chapter in his life.
