IMO the Sean-AshLee arc ended two weeks ago and they've just been treading water ever since. Meanwhile the Sean-Lesley arc seemed unfinished, esp since Sean himself said he might have chosen differently if Lesley had declared some feelings for him. Speaking for myself only, that's why I suggested that switching the Ashlee & Lesley positions would have been ideal.

As for Sarah vs Ashlee dismissals, he could have handled them both the same way - pull them aside at the start of the RC, talk to them, and let them go privately.

Based on AshLee's interview in Hollywood Insider, she's totally fine & raring to go again! She said her experience on show changed her for better.

It was an honest reaction from Sean to try and talk to her & an honest reaction from AshLee to not allow him. But that icy stare showed fans another side of her. Some folks cheered AshLee on while slamming Sean but not sure that glare won her over any guy fans. My husband said, "He was right to let her go!" after seeing her reaction.

Okay, I am not in the mental health profession at all!! However, I read a comment on another site from someone who said that she worked in that field. She stated that AshLee's reaction of staring at Sean and not saying a word was appropriate for what she most likely endured early in her life. I know that lots of you are tired of hearing the word abandonment, but according to this woman, AshLee at that moment (when Sean was trying to talk to her) probably was not even hearing what he was saying, because she had all these thoughts running through her head. After all, AshLee was convinced that she was going to receive a rose at that ceremony.

Therefore, AshLee had not had time to even process what had just happened, and she did not even know what to say. That was my take on "the stare". I would have been more concerned if AshLee had had a silly grin on her face that seemed entirely unappropriate for the circumstances. Her reaction seemed honest and real to me. I know that it was not what Sean expected, but not everyone reacts the same way that he did with Emily.

And who really gets the closure that they need from that 2 minute talk with the lead right after they are eliminated anyway? I have yet to hear any of them say "Okay. Thanks, that makes perfect sense". The closure for them does not come for weeks or months after they have returned to the real world and have been able to decompress. So, those little chats with the rejected party don't hold much weight for me. But, boy, the producers sure do love LOVE them, because they make for good television, because they are usually raw, honest reactions to being rejected. I don't think being angry was an inappropriate reaction to the situation. And AshLee handled it the best way that she knew how.

I think the difference in wanting the F2 to be let go before the FRC this season is we actually got to hear Sean say he was in love and there was someone he was ready to purpose to before the F3 RC had even taken place.

In the past even though I feel the lead usually knows exactly who they want pick in the end at this stage we don't get to hear them admit that it is a done deal. It is more or less implied though.

Interesting. I don't know that people expect a perfect woman- "perfect" doesn't really exist because everyone is subjective. I think some people are really falling into AshLee's therapy-speak though. Personally it would drive me nuts and she would have been gone long ago. Lucky this is t my 'journey'.

I agree; I never warmed to her. This has to be the worst season, for me, since Lorenzo. I have never done this amount of FFing for this franchaise.

Then we see him confused about letting Ashlee go right after he tells Chris he is in love. ???? Come on. And then he says '"I think the world of you" :headbanging

This is a relationship that I definately know is not going to go the distance. I usually hold some hope and expectation. Catherine is a spit fire and will find a man when she is ready who will be a good fit. Sean? We shall see.

i loved Ashlee's reaction! It was a refreshing change. Smiley

They definitely won't go the distance? I've come to realize that I just can't predict that. The relationship that seemed to have the most strikes against it in this franchise was Jason/Molly, and they are blissful. And when Jef moved to Charlotte I remember thinking, there is absolutely no chance that they won't be married within the year. Yeah, right. Would I put money on them? No. Odds are that they won't make it. I certainly don't have blinders on like I did last season. But sometimes magic happens ...

At least with Jason and Molly we saw the sexual chemistry between them on his season. The only sexual chemistry I've seen this season is Sean by himself in the shower giggling

:laughingoutlou I do see chemistry between Sean & Catherine but you know he's never going to totally let go while on camera. If they wanted that they should have picked Arie.

I have no idea if they'll last but we know odds are against all of the final couples. I'm just happy that Sean surprised me and picked someone I didn't expect. Going into the season I was sure he'd pick a conservative southern girl.

There is a marked difference between Sean and the other bachelors who have come before him. He is ready and willing to get married and settle down now! He's not looking for just a good time, a chance to date beautiful women, or an adventure. He wants a wife! Sean is a methodical goal setter. IMO he has decided to marry before he turns 30 in November.

Catherine and Sean are in love and have committed their lives to each other. By the time the season is over, they will have already been engaged for four months. Word is that they are planning a wedding by the end of the summer. That would not surprise me. The difference? Celibacy.

I see a lot of chemistry between Sean and Catherine as well. As much as his kissing has been made fun of, I see him kissing her very differently. As he said, he thinks she is smokin hot.

Seanie's reserved by nature, as Catherine said herself she's old-fashion....I'm sure their alone time is 'smokin hot'! Not everything has to be advertised on TV to make it real!

My concern is more about Catherine than Sean. Just not sure if she's ready. Time will tell.
